hangin add manga to list The List

The story of a boy and his would-be bully, who is comically inept at being mean to him....

  • Author: Mosuko
  • Genres: Comedy / School life / Slice of life

This was such a good read. I loved the ambiguity of it all at the start, how Aizawa's intentions were never really clear and how they provided us that fear of a twist (of aizawa being not so good of a person)

I loved the plot of this, it's such a well written piece and everything flows and connects incredibly well with eachother. Once you finish it, or get past through certain points everything clicks and you understand why he did such things.

Long Rant Incoming:

I loved Aizawa as a character too, he had the ability to make a difference and help others and he took it, all while dealing with his own past and getting over it. And he's continuing to do so because he knows the pain, the thoughts, the things you go through because of bullying, gosh he's such a great character.

This manga is also just so real in so many parts. Like when it's told that the reason for the bullying is almost always because of something irrational, stupid and small. Or the fact that those who have been bullied will most likely always carry the memories with them. And I'm so happy to see them not ever blaming the victim, victim blaming makes me want to explode.

And let's be fr, Suzuki, had this coming for him. Even in the end it's shown that he's incapable of change and realizing and repenting for the horrible things he's done. The only good thing he's probably done in his life is give life to Shiori. (She deserves so much, and I'm just glad she's had her happy ending)

I'm honestly satisfied with how the story is now despite it being marked as incomplete.

TLDR: I guarantee you, if you read through till the end of this, you won't regret it, it has a great narrative and gives an amazing insight on how bullying can greatly affect people. Also gives you that satisfying revenge lol.

(It's pretty triggering though, so please do take care of yourself and stop if it starts to be too much)

(This was such a long comment, sorry about that, and if you're reading this. Thanks!)
