Such a beautiful story. It had a slow start, but god, did everything tie nicely together in the end. I'm so fucking happy for the both of them, I loved both of their characters. I really loved the story and how it tackled memories, regrets, love, and happiness. I've read this story a few times before, but it didn't really hit me this hard at the time.

(TLDR: Absolutely worth the read for an emotional story, but an eventual happy ending. Definitely reading this again once in a while.)

Such a beautiful story. I'm not gonna lie, i was sobbing while reading the last arc of the story, or well more specifically since the end of season 1, and all throughout season 2. It was a bit hard to read because my vision was blurry LOL

It had a slow start, but god, did everything tie nicely together in the end. I'm so fucking happy for the both of them, I loved both of their characters. From Yeonduk's love for Skyler, and how complicated it was for him to accept the fact that he loved him, even if he had hurt him time and time again– to accepting his feelings even after trying to get over him and moving back to his home town, and meeting new friends and experiencing the school life he deserved. And Skyler who went through so much fucking shit that he had never once deserved to go through, he was just a kid. He was someone who was given a terrible hand from the start of his life, with a mother that wanted him dead, and a father who didn't care for him. Seeing him regret everything he's done, going back to the start, and really reflecting on his life and... everything that had led up to who he was now is so amazing to see. He hated his mom, yet didn't want her to leave him because who else would he have? Disliked his family and his life, even if he had a "perfect" life from an outsiders point of view, and was so fucking lonely despite being surrounded by people. I loved his development, it wasn't out of nowhere, but a gradual change that was so fucking heartwarming to see. My heart goes out to the both of them.... I love the childhood friends trope so much, and reading this story reminds me why I do.

There's so many scenes that I absolutely adored in this manhwa. The best one had to be Yeonduk finding Skyler after he had ran away, accepting him into his arms even after everything, even if Skyler wouldn't admit to himself that he needed him to be beside himself. The scene where they sat together... Skyler telling Yeonduk he hated him, but clinging onto him, and Yeonduk looking at him like he knows, really know and understands what Skyler's trying to tell him even if he's saying he hates him. Where the misunderstanding is finally cleared up, and Skyler being left confused by the thought that Yeonduk was being genuine the entire time, and the fact that he had cried in front of him as they ate.. How he was always by his side no matter how many times he would push him away. Like a child seeking attention, and affection from someone he liked, Skyler continued to test him because he didn't understand why Yeonduk stayed with him after everything he had done to him. Fuck man.

Those panels where it would be just them, no dialogue, nothing in particular really happening. Just.. them, soaking in their emotions. Those really stood up to me to be honest. Anyway, to wrap this stupid long rant up. I really loved the story and how it tackled memories, regrets, love, and happiness. I've read this story a few times before, but it didn't really hit me this hard at the time...I should add this to my list soon..

(tldr: well written characters, an interesting premise that was executed perfectly and was able to tell the message it was trying convey. good read, and has made me cry more than once.)

author's barely disguised fetish, the manhwa. WE GET IT AUTHOR YOU'RE A FUCKING SHOTACON!

hangin asked a question

that one yaoi manhwa (?) where they live in the same apartment complex, and start out as fuck buddies. the bottom has black hair, a writer (?) & the top has brown hair with a mole underneath his eye, an office worker. it's in black & white. another guy sleeps with bottom, that's the younger brother of the guy he liked that had died, also saved him when he was about to off himself in the ocean.

i have an ss, but idk how to paste pics, but if anyone wants to see just tell me & I'll figure something out.

hangin created a topic of Wakeari Shinrei Mansion

the occasional serious face shinonome shows (that's becoming more frequent lately) is always nice to see for some reason. it's refreshing to see, i guess? i find it hilarious how tsudzumi has just accepted being carried everywhere. cliffhangers like these ones should be illegal... shit's gonna go down again next chapter T-T

hangin created a topic of Jang Gun's Butcher Shop

confusing as fuck. maybe it's just bc of the translations, but i seriously don't know what was happening. appreciate the work & effort put into the translations, but they feel half-assed, and the dialogue makes no sense. i liked the vibe of the story, but i cant even properly get into it because i couldn't understand anything..

hangin created a topic of 19 Days

the art looking clean goddamn! i love the development with mo & he tian, good shit right there. but i miss jian yi & zheng xi, they're the ogs so i can't forget about them... i wanna see more chapters focused around them ( —_—||)

hangin created a topic of Corrosive

it seriously feels like bl authors are in a competition who can make the most gut wrenching and disturbing stories with the worst toxic elements while romanticising abuse and other fucked up shit. apparently, bl authors can't make something without including grape. and this one is barely tipping the iceberg! what the fuck.

this one feels like a slow burner, really slow pace as of now, but i think it has some potential to be pretty good. dunno why they still haven't gotten back to kid heejae, kinda left the readers hanging but whatever i can wait.

solid read when you have nothing to do ^_^

also please get that man out of that ugly blue tracksuit, he looked so good in a suit, he needs to get new clothes please even some basic fit will do, anything but that eyesore of a tracksuit.

thank you very much for this manga format upload way better reading experience ngl

waahhh natsuki as a handsome woman, she's so real.. also is this really the end??? what with the weird cliffhanger?? please don't be i need to see more of all of them

yuri my bpd king what the fuck is wrong with him... yohan is so right about mr. lee not being entirely right in the head bc i'd want to bash yuri's head in with how he usually acts. at least mr. lee finds its kinda cute, good for them, good for them.

but this story was actually pretty good, half of the time i wanted to murder them. i told myself I wasn't going to read this, but when i started i couldn't stop, now that what you call a captivating story. i expected no less from this author tbh, i'd love to see a GL from them, i just know they would do well.

hangin created a topic of For Your Love

ur partner outright says he's anxious, why is it so difficult to reassure him that you love him and you wouldn't leave him for someone who likes you? is it so fucking difficult to communicate? you've been together for 7 whole fucking years and you're both GROWN ASS MEN yet you can't talk to eachother properly– and even if you do, its a fucking mess because you two can't seem to try and understand where your partner is coming from. love u guys and all. but holy shit these sides make me want to rip my skin out dudes

just... humans being human, y'know? i love the characters dearly, like, they speak to me on such a personal level it's actually kinda insane. i see so much of myself in both uno and kobayashi.. so good. recently, whenever i dont want to start school work, i think about what they would say: this works pretty well. i love a good slice of life. i love seeing characters that could actually very much be someone that exists in reality. such a good read.

everything that's actually good and interesting is always incomplete or underrated what the hell man PLEASE PLEASE BRING THIS BACK

hangin asked a question

that one shounen ai (?) manga that was about a writer x fan. they're both in highschool, and actually in the same class but writer's been absent for a while for some reason. they meet on the train, while the fan is reading the writer's book and he starts to read it with him, i think the writer insults his book as well? but fan defends it. uhh the writer was blond, but dyed his hair black once he went back to school. that's all i remember lol. (also recommendations on anything about writing would be nice)

why they got beef with a child?? what is even happening?? (i expected the fl to be a bit more.. idk, cunning? she is the villain's daughter after all, i thought she'd utilize her knowledge more but she seems to have also regressed to a childlike mentality

the best solution to this is blast music in your headphones like crazy. or play loud music to retaliate like: "hey! stop having loud ass sex! i can hear you from 201!" but im curious to see if their thoughts bypass the volume of music, that'd be hilarious, minamoto is real unlucky. really hope him and mc interact soon, thank you for the translations ^_^
