What a misleading cover. When i saw it in the chinese site (77mh) i seriously thought Ogata and Saya's personalities would be so totally unlike what they realy are. And i'm so damn glad i was wrong. Realy so so glad. One, 'cause i like pleasant surprises. And two, 'cause is not more of the same in a sense. I don't know why but i has a much more serious air, the story i mean. As in being a more profesional-like type of manga than the rest of the other Ogeretsu's works. On another level. Her bold artwork is pleasant and she's a greatly talented artist.

I saw the anime (1st season, OVA and what there is of the 2nd season so far) on saturday, then i read all this chapters in 3 days (plus all djs i could come across on and Let's HQ too, don't know if there's more official stuff, need to check)... I gotta say, i've never been so infatuated, attracted and mesmerized by a shounen manga about sports in my life. EVER. Not even as teenager when i watched Slam Dunk and to me that was a hell of a awesome story. Well stil is, but now is HQ is on pretty much the same level.
About the last chapter... man, the only ray of hope i see of Karasuno winning tbh would be 'cause is the 3rd year's last chance of advancing on the team's so longed dream. I mean, come on, all Suga-san, Daichi-san and Asahi-san's frustrations and efforts can't go to waste just like that... that would be so cruel.

I feel yah! and to think the 3rd years sacrificed their months that was supposed to be spent studying... T w T please win karasuno~!!!

This remind me of TEN COUNT (in a good way of course).
It was nice and it had a nice and simple closure even being so short.
I think i'll want to see a long serialization by Zaria.
Not of this story but something else.
It would be a precious jewel; art and plot wise.

Oh Erza you know what we want to see, that's why you're the master. I so wanted more Gruvia (i'm greedy i know lol). BUT, that Jerza last part was so utterly cute d'awww. And seriously i think that Natsu (he so was jingling those ''bells'') and Gajeel (his face while the spanking lol) enjoyed being naked a hell lot. I hope Mashima does more shiping extras like this in the near future.

[I apologise in advance for my bad grammar]
I missed the last two chapters and come back to this?.
I think only 2 things of this: One, i don't think that the 'rape' factor is possible because Nakamura sensei presented their relationship in a very brief but clear way and their characters traits help enforce that certainty even more so. Two, the focus of this flashbacks and Saena's backstory is to, specifically tell Kyouko what happened that made her own mother so resentful towards her own child and obviously the events presented on this pages point that the fault of this 'curse' goes to the father. So, my belief goes to only one thing: Betrayal. This particular betrayal comes in the form of damaging the thing Saena values the most in her life as independent human being and woman, her work. What if, apart of stealing secrets of the case, the purpose of Misonoi's involvement with her is to make hindrance her capability to work as hard and efficent as she always does?. Make her change from a stric and inflexible person to (thanks to falling in love and such) someone that'll make a few but key mistakes to the case and more so afect the way her coworkers view her. That would be like worst than a curse. And a mirror of what happened to her daugther with Sho. If you see the way Misonoi acts, he has the same hability as Todou-san to read people and in his particular case, to manipulate them, no matter how difficult his subject proves to be. Let's wait and see and hope for the best.

thanks for sharing your thoughts. For all the possibilities and assumptions I have read so far, yours is the most compelling one, that I can agree with the most :)

I wonder what will make this Neo-Griffith snap and go back to his Femto form?. Or with his rebirth his apostol form is completely lost forever?. Would just be reserved for his final encounter with Gutts?.

    Ivis October 27, 2015 2:05 pm

He's most likely waiting for Griffith. There would be no point in transforming to fight weak opponents.

Another case of ' i like the spin off better' for me. I tent to like unrequited love stories with devilish-tsundere-players that become serious- type of characters like Moriya and stoics types like Sahara... i don't know why. The only place i find this kind of love(the unrequited and painful) to be (plot wise) enjoyable is in this kind of fiction and the likes, in real life it can be life wrecking.

    Mearo September 8, 2015 1:03 pm

Haha, same here, so far I almost always prefer spin offs/secondary characters love story!

    KiryuuYuki407 February 27, 2016 1:54 pm

This happened to me also with the Warui series, I don't like the main couple of MikadoxTowa, but I love the secondaries couples: ShinonomexYukimura, AkagixNao, and specially AikawaxNanao (this couple has a devilish uke that turns out to be very fragile on the inside and a stoic seme, I love them).

Why does it have to become so stupidly complicated with Arata now in the equation in that way?... I mean, is already complicated enough (at least for me) to have the little brother involved in some way with Haruto. Obviously he can't get in his brother's way in the slightest with that new plan of 'stealing' Shinobu and all that... but i was hoping for him to stop suffering and move forward a bit faster. And, Shinobu's drawing got so young.

Also, Yoshinari's arc is so much more fitting with the title of the manga.

Aerei September 8, 2015 2:45 am

Kyoko's father could be anyone, i mean, another lawyer (or more like an aspiring one that her mother met in university) or one or the first colleagues of the very first job she had (some suave senpai that tricked her and then dump her) or maybe an actor, with as much as fame and talent as Ren's dad (Kuon actually) that she simply got involved with and then they parted ways awfully. Or whatever crazy possibility Nakamura sensei will reveal to us later. I particularly am regaining interest in this arc thanks to this chapter in which she straightened Saena's character and now i find likable. A very sensitive topic to adress. Still, i know she wants to presents us a complex and pure love story (regarding Ren and Kyoko's interactions and relationship development) but, sometimes it can get out of focus. And i'm not talking about romantic scenes or anything. They should past the barrier of ' This strong, kind of forbidden, must be hidden, love because i need to overcome my dark past and emotions' already. It's time to upgrade the status a little.

End of my not so elocuent rant...

Considering how anime/mangas are the dad would mostly likely be someone from the entertanment industry or aspiring to be one, which match with kyoko or a client ftom the mum

    Mr.d is probably her father
And i think once he'll meet kyouko he'll take her and make her famous actress ( he is acting agent)
