I see a bunch of comments pointing out how he’s a teen and she’s not double digit yet or whatnot. Realistically speaking (in today’s standards), yes it’s weird for a teen to develop feelings for someone as young as Hwa. But thinking historically and FICTIONALLY (because this is a story that is happening in a FICTIONAL world with FICTIONAL characters who have FICTIONAL emotions), there’s nothing wrong about it. This is how the majority of historical romance novels begin (love blooming from a young age). Plus, he’s not showing any signs of perversion towards her, nor emotions of lust. Rather, he admires her for her kindness towards him. Heck, people back then would even traditionally marry off their children to someone 40 years older than them (not an exaggeration, FYI). So for those saying it’s pedophilic, it’s not. Just sit back and enjoy the story. Or if you still highly stand by your opinion, read another story that involves adults as the protagonists.
Its literally been 33 chapters. No one is holding a gun to their head to finish it. If they're still here screaming "pervert" in a not even perverted story after 33 chapters then im picking up real sketch vibes
