1. If it was a childhood best friend situation were the kids have been raised together their whole life would it be an issue?
2. If a foster child was brought into a home and years later fell in love with their foster sibling after they moved out would it be an issue?
I don’t see a problem. She was brought into the house at an age where she was clearly aware of her situation and not some small baby and so were the others. They know they’re not related and have always known. The parents aren’t alive and she was taken in because of their selfish needs anyway.
If you hate it that much just pretend the parents canceled the adoption and she just lives there at the house. #－.－)

the reason incest is bad, is because it is literally against nature. it is an abnormal behaviour. but this is not incest. i would understand the disgust if they were in any way cousins or something. cause i don`t care how thin the bloodline between cousins is...if they have blood relation, stay the fuck away from anything related to non platonic stuff for fock sake....but these two are not blood related and from the beginning he denied her as a kid, then he was torn between finding her cute and assimilating her with his sister...so there is no real psychological issue....she also never really saw them as her family and brothers....anyway...
I don't understand how people still come up with the "against nature" argument. By this point, all our food is genetically modified. Heck, dogs (originally wolves) weren't meant to be domestic. Domesticating animals, keeping hens in cages... none of it is natural. That's just a lazy argument that people who have no other argument and want to use God as a trump card naturally come up with.
No. I am not using god or some weird sentimental stuff. I also agree that all the selfish stuff we did and do to nature is wrong. Hence I am someone trying her best in human definition to not be a hypocrite. Science tries to understand nature and has a lot of empirical evidence, why incest is not ok. We are one of the very few species on this planet that do incest. Why? Because we are dumb, that is all. Animals can sense if their partner is genetically compatible with them or not. Humans use shit like "love" as an excuse or "to not go out of the bloodline" or whatever stupid reason to justify incest. How do can one think it is in any way rational to allow two people with a super close and apparent heritage to do intercourse? There is a difference between opinion and empirical evidence. A difference between being sentimental and rational. If you try to be rational and objective incest makes no sense. Nothing there to refute that.
Actually, that's not true. Animals don't care about "sibling" or "parental" relationships and would mate with "blood related" animals or other animals in the same social group. Only humans care about incest. There is no scientific or empirical evidence to prove that incest is a huge problem. The only reason it was recognized as such was because the European royal family had a specific recessive gene that caused a terrible disease and that afflicted them a lot rather than disappearing because of their habit of marrying other royals. Because it happened to royals, it became a big deal. Otherwise, there is only about a 2% more chance of passing on genetic disease through recessive genes. If it is through dominant genes, there isn't really any difference.
As for why incest is actually not very advisable among humans is coz of power dynamics in family, high chance of harassment and coz it'd be awkward if one or both wanted to break it off (coz you can't get away from family).
Tia deserves all the pain she is currently going through because she’s doing it to herself. She’s perfectly okay with mental self-harm as long as she doesn’t repeat what she did in the past timeline. If she’s fine with it then I am too so every time she gets upset over her own choices it’s another time I can’t wait until the end of this story
Marie needs to stop being blondies stepping stone. Like I get she thinks that once blondies the queen then she’ll be able to leave the palace, but if that girl needs Marie to pave the way for her to be queen what are the chances she’ll let Marie go that easily.

Yes Julian’s mother isn’t mentally stable because she lost a child BUT Julian not only lost a sister he lost his own identity because of the selfish wishes of his family. So she doesn’t need pity she needs help. I’m glad Julian is being taken away from her. If you can’t let a child thrive you should let them go.
