I really hate Joel. He was showing affections to Chase instead of showing those towards his own son. It's like he didn't try to understand why Jesse was acting like he was. This is my first time having hate towards a character of a story. Ugh!! There are more i want to say, but i can't put it into words. I feel sorry for Jesse
Oh! Ikr. Who wouldnt want to act up when all the time your "father" seemed disappointed in you. Like both of them were trying to adjust but Joel is already far older than the 17 yr old boy he was. And can he really judge Jesse when he's the one ogling Chase? For someone who was "popular" and "mature", he was basically clueless and even blamed it on his son. At this point, Chase is more of the adult among the four of them (even if he's also the flirtiest HAHAHA).
The texts of the last few chapters are blurry, I can't read them ( TДT)
But it's worth it for that scene ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄

A hidden gem! The ending was kinda unsatisfying, considering we want more scenes between Souma and Masataka in their future (like, c'mon, I want to see them happier together aftet all those bs happened to them).
But it was also satisfying in the sense that we can live it up to out imaginations that they got together again in the end. (I imagine, Masataka becoming a teacher aftet a few years and suddenly bumping into Souma, then hugging each other while having tears of joy)
