because the original story is only at chapter 16 and it's part of a webcomic compilations of bittersweet story together with other webcomic artists. But it became too popular that the author has to make it work. Honestly, I like if it ends at chapter 16 there and then. So, it's like if people want to read it for what it is then it's a story until chapter 16 and there's kinda an alternate ending for it so here goes side story.
I don't think alternate story is really the word here cause side 1 is literally the continuation of 16 which is supposed to be the end.. it's probably just the author giving in from the pressure rn

I love that they’re having real conversations and quality time. This is so rare in a manhwa, I feel like a lot of authors don’t know how to write this. But this is an absolute masterpiece (▰˘◡˘▰)
