I'm surprised to see many people are shocked by this? I thought the context clues about the connection behind the ex and our seme were pretty clear throughout the story :') It's a bit peculiar that we're addressing this during side stories though, seems like something that should've been tied during the main story.

The spoilers that I saw for the things Pina did that's about to get exposed are actually very scandalous and I can't wait to see how everybody will react to it (especially in a world where reputation is such an important thing). Right in front of the royals too, plus the best part is Remilia's name will finally be cleared of accusations without people even realizing they're all playing at the palm of Remi's hands (which AS YOU SHOULD, QUEEN <3 GET THAT REVENGE FOR EMI FR)

SPOILERS below, please proceed with caution (and take this with a grain of salt as I haven't read the novel myself, these are just what I've gathered from others who did read it)
In Volume 4 Chapter 15, we got a little preview of how good Pina is with her "I'm just a powerless girl being bullied" victim act which is amplified by the potions/boosts she bought. Towards the end of that chapter, Remi mentions that "There might've been worth in dirtying my eyes after all," which I didn't think much about (because I just assumed Pina prob did something illegal and whatnot) until I found out what she saw.
Basically, during her quest to isolate Remilia (Emi), she snaked her way to every person that she could weaponize against Emi, including one of her guards. In normal Pina fashion, she seduced the guard with her pity act and shameless flirting. However, she didn't stop with just smiles and flattery because apparently she got down and dirty with the guy (if you're curious, I believe the guard is Romano which we've seen in Volume 4 Chapter 22 where their interaction got sus tbh so it probably wasn't a one time thing for them). What Remi saw was Pina giving a boob job, blow job, and letting the guy take her from the back (because she needs to keep her virginity as the star maiden ). Her adultery adventures really just gets projected for the whole banquet hall to see. Remi even described what she saw to be more horrifying than the mating of beasts lol.
The kicker for all of this is that we find out later how the OG!Pina (similar to how OG!Remilia was inside and could see everything while Emi was living her life as Remilia) saw everything Pina was doing. She was so disgusted and couldn't live with all the BS that she forcefully let her soul fade away so she doesn't have to see anything Pina was doing and just stay dormant in the afterlife (or smth like that). She was so traumatized that when offered to reincarnate later in the story, she refused to be born as a girl because she couldn't erase the memories of atrocities Pina did with her body ╥﹏╥

Remi will make an agreement with a god of some sorts (I forgot but it was a being who can help with finding Emi's soul to reincarnate her as Remi and Angel's child, this being also sheltered OG!Pina's soul since they took pity on her) and her offer in exchange for its help is the promise to give OG!Pina a second chance in life with a loving family (by making her reincarnate as their first child). So, OG!Pina will be born as Emi's older brother :>>
