Y’know, I read a bunch of Yuri and when I saw this on the home page I was like “I’ll give this a shot. I’m a raging lesbian, but maybe it would be alright.” Uhhhh I read all of available episodes and...it was um interesting.(⊙…⊙ ) Final Verdict: Um, no thanks I’ll stick to my gay shit thank you very much.
Like I've seen people on Hayoon's side and minju's (mostly Hayoon), but they both suck lmao. They both shit, throw both of them out the window and into a dumpster fire where they belong. Like I hate both of them, but a few slaps and telling minju to pretend that they don't know each other does NOT rule over rape. Also, don't give me the whole "She loves Hayoon!" bullshit, Rape doesn't equal love. Like bitch, I know you love her, but there are better ways of getting your love across than rape. Don't give me the "It wasn't rape because Hayoon does love Minju. She just has a hard time accepting it." No means no, Hayoon told her no many times and even slapped her to get her off. Don't get me wrong, Hayoon a bitch too, but I hate Minju more.
In conclusion, they both trash, so stan the beta girl for good skin (DONT SPOIL ME PLEASE, but if the beta girl problematic too, I'm not only throwing her into a dumpster fire, I'm throwing my laptop too).
Yeah rape is rape, what we saw in the webtoon was rape. You are correct. Honestly though I enjoy reading rapey romance series. Probably since if it happened irl I would get the fuck out, but it's fantasy so I don't really need to worry about anyone getting hurt. Anyways, I think webstoon artist should put warnings if a rape scene is about to take place and something like "this doesn't represent what you should do irl" for all romances that may contain rape themes. Because there is an appeal to it, so I don't think it should get rid of, but i do think there should be more advocacy for having warning contents that go along the lines of "this doesn't depict a healthy rl relationship" so people are aware, yet still can enjoy the content.
I can understand that. Personally, it makes me a bit uncomfy, but not so much that I have to skip the whole scene. I'm not one to shame what people like. You do you. Also, I do think warnings are very needed as rape is a very common trigger, and those actions should not be replicated. What I was really trying to get across is that both of them are toxic. I've seen people siding with Hayoon without acknowledging what Minju has done, and some even tried to justify it (or at least that was what I believe).
I totally agree with you. I personally enjoy it, but even so, i strongly think (and not just for this webtoon but in general) that there should be warning labels. People need to understand that you can enjoy the content but know it's not right behavior. it's something you see a lot in webtoons/manga and I hope in the future there's a law created where it requires artist to put label signs. And oh yeah both are super toxic tbh.
yep.. warning labels must be put on if a rape scene or any form of violence will take place as some get easily offended with these kind of things..
I agree, Minju is worse because she literally raped Hayoon. However, the fact that Hayoon gets a pass for being emotionally abusive because she has trust issues also pisses me off (e.g. when she let out her anger when they were in HS). Yea I get it she thinks she’s only viewed as a toy but she literally said they were close friends? The fact that her foster family sent her to college already says a lot how different she is from normal omegas (well ofc bec of Minju but that’s beside the point). Hope she makes up her damn mind already, either cut off ties completely or try resolve her trust issues.
