Itsu has done nothing wrong thus far to warrant the amount passive-aggressive remarks about him. It's actually quite sad, cause when I read it,I see a guy head over heels for a girl, and it makes my heart flutter. How tender he treats Yuki and how honest he has been with his feelings and emotions. I wish people would stop with these stereotypical comments attributed by their jaded outlook of Itsu's "type of character".
I also see pity towards Oushi and honestly it's annoying. I understand that there is probably some belief that being best friends with someone means something important especially if you have couple/relo related emotions towards them. Lies! If you and your childhood best friend date, you date because it's what you both want (unless y'all are just dating because you're expected to date, so you'd rather follow other peoples expectation rather than your own heart). If you don't, it's for reasons other than being friends. Oushi never mentioned his feelings towards Yuki, as far as I've read he has never confessed how he felt.
To me Oushi gives off some "toxic" vibes...like how he expects Yuki and Itsu to break up but ends up pissed when he finds out that Itsu is speaking in sign. That screams low-key narcissism to me...like he believes that Yuki will never find anyone who would go the lengths he has just to be by her side.

I never pity the childhood friend in mangas with a love triangle/rival 'cause they always act like they're entitled to the female lead's love just because they've known her longer. Yes it's sad, you like her, she don't, but don't disrespect her thinking that nobody would like her enough to learn sign language... Yes I don't remember if he said it like that but he acted like it.
I know it's basically why every one of us are supporting itsu, he doesn't push himself into her and he asks her if it's okay and is honest with her, doesn't play games or force himself on her, respects her and shows her a new world, shows her he is interested and doesnt hold back.. isn't that what all girls want??

Also I don't recall Yuki saying that her childhood friend is her best friend, she said they were childhood friends but they didn't see each other much until recently
Also just because he likes her doesn't give him the right to be overprotective of her, she has the right to date someone and just because he has prejudice towards itsu doesn't mean he knows him .. blah guys like him piss me off because they always think the girl needs to be protected and as if she doesn't have an opinion, he needs to fuckin grow up

Right?? He's been upfront with Yuki from the beginning of the story and as well as being honest. He loves travelling and we've seen that from the beginning of the story, he's never lied about that. I feel some people are just looking for issues not to trust him. Like how he confessed and still weny on his trip, I understand the urgency of his confession. Probs would do the same thing if I had his confidence. He liked her so much he didn't want to go his trip not know where they stood. Relationships are not supposed to be restricting. They have to allow you to fully express yourself and feel accepted.

She knew he likes traveling and even when she asked why he liked it he didn't make a big deal me said I'll tell you when we know each other more
And I think it makes more sense for them to know who they are for each other before he goes travelling, and it's not like he ghosted her he kept in touch and that is sweet

right! He honestly is an amazing guy. Just the way he treats Yuki, that alone has me feeling some type of way. Like he's gentle, and caring and loving and generally sweet. How he is firm with his feeling not just with Yuki but with Emma too. I respect him. I think that's why he's so popular with the ladies. He isn't flirtatious with them and treats them with respect. Women want to be respected as well as adored and fine man like his understands that, what's to hate?

Chapter 17 was so satisfactory, the sentimental bitch in me is thriving. Itsu is by far my ideal type, both in reall life and fiction. People thought of him as, shallow and self-centered and to others, down right rude and creepy but he's the most real and honest character and I love it(づ￣ ³￣)づ. Yu-chan deserves someone who won't treat her like she's made of glass or pity her. She's stronger than anyone of us gives her credit for. As seen countless of times, especially concerning her family and also how people treat her. Foreshadowing from the train scene that brought our two main characters together is also a great example. *This woman is the epitome of what I desire to see in my self*
Like people, do you realise how desirable Itsu is? Mans is so open with Yuuki, about himself, his life, his relationships, his FEELINGS,..everything ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

Like (✿˶˘ ³˘)~♡He understands that people will get hurt or awkward around him with his honesty but he still does it. The way he treats Yuuki too *chef kisses*.
Even though Oushi cares for her, he annoyed me as how he used her disability as validation to his behaviour (granted, I could be biased) but I called BS and BS was what it turned out to be. He was/is in love with her but was never emotionally mature enough to be honest with himself and Yuuki. This is why seeing him cry was both heart-breaking and important. In that moment he too realised what his true feelings were. But like the the toxicity is strong in this one. Key highlights is his entitlement to Yuuki, which he later figured out is his unrequited love. Then we have the the scene where he literally tries to force Itsu to break up with Yuuki (if that doesn't scream bad bad mojo vibes, I don't know what will). Later we see him violently stopping Yuuki from finishing her sign (could be attributed for jealousy on his part) but this is especially dangerous because sudden movements could scare Yuuki(which he warned Istu against in the first few chapters). He went further and literally told her not to compliment her boyfriend when he'swith her...like..what?..TF.??!. I could write essays on how "unhealthy" his behaviour is but that is for another time, besides I doubt most would actually accept that.┑(￣Д ￣)┍
