I never really liked the main couple from the original story, I only enjoyed the brother x beta side story
Although, I will say this looks cute (Byul has always been so cute) & it seems like the author has gotten better at drawing body proportions
I'll come back in a few weeks to see if it's worth it lol

What's the psychology behind manhwa authors loving rape?
Like what's in the culture of bl manga and ESPECIALLY manhwa to love rape?
Because that's what this is. There's no glorifying it, there's no romanticizing it. It's very clear.... But my question is: why?

because women write this thus the role of the woman is taken over by the man, rape is much less of a threat and disturbing when its between two fictional males, if you replace the victim with a girl/woman the threat becomes very real, it's just how society is propped up, the males i know in my life don't think about rape as a real or practical thing that can happen to them -- whereas all of the woman in my life have had encounters with sexual assault and have a real fear of being assaulted because that is the reality of the situation. I am NOT defending this btw, just stating that authors/readers find it easier to showcase 'dark' or lack of consent in bl because it is between two males thus removing the woman from the equation, its easier to see it as ficiton. that's what ive observed at least.

That's a bit of what I've assumed as well, but that mindset is so damaging.
I heard that when the Menendez Brothers were on trial for k!lling their parents for their dad rxping one of them, someone on the prosecuting side said "men can't be rxped" and that's so unbelievably mortifying
I know these manhwas are just fiction, but at the end of the day.. it's still sad
He is not a damn masochist
