I love that the main theme so far has been about family. Like it's not a trope about who Shuli will end up with but so far more focus on all types of family dynamics. Like we have her and the kids, the kids with each other, relationships with family you cant stand, then whatever the heck is going on with the imperial family. It's so interesting!
And the art!!! It's so detailed! One of the character designs I immideately fell in love with was Byeren (is that right?) the older lady at the council. I'm living for all those wrinkles man, they are beautifully done. I don't think I've ever seen that much effort put into the elderly characters in any other web comic
Honestly I'm mainly reading for the sibling content. It's HILARIOUS! It's even better with the art style.
What I like the most is that the artist actually gave Paulina muscles haha
All the time when I read about this type of stories the female lead still has the lean body with the flowing hair etc. I still enjoy those stories but with Paulina it made me love her so much more because yes the short hair makes sense in the battlefield and she's been at war for years so of course she'd have scars and have built up that type of body. It just makes the story more believable and I can really admire all that she's been through

the only thing that bother's me is that we know what's gonna happen because of the dreams so even when she accomplishes something it's pretty anticlimactic. I wish there was another way that her knowledge was awoken or even if what she dreamed was not put into practice right after so it could keep us guessing
