So, I found this on two official releases. One is on webnovel and another one is on webcomics. Are they both the same? Or does one have uncensored scenes? Because this is labeled as yaoi. So I was wondering if there were two versions of this seeing as apps don't allow mature content. (i don't know if that rule applies to all manga legit apps)

In Webnovel (the one being updated) its the uncensored version and webcomics is the censored version, also another difference is that webcomics has more chapters uploaded than webnovel ^^

If the uploader could got through the trouble of changing the names to the original ones instead of the westernized version that would be great. It sucks now!
Not the uploader's fault, the new chapters that are being uploaded belongs to tapas. The original/ fan scan translators can no longer continue translating when an official comic book translating comic like tapas, webcomics etc picks up the story and unfortunately most times the first thing most of these companies do is to change the name of the characters or translate them into english.
An as long as these chapters belong to tapas, I don't think they can or are allowed to change the names back
That's not the issue because in the first place, Tapas content shouldn't be shared here. So, changing the names is something the uploader could do since they are posting files they shouldn't.

I think it's like those type of things were the vampire turns a human to become one. The vampire that made the human into a vampire has a link with the person he/she bit.
The first thought that came to my mind was that they were some sort of familiars, but what you said can be it too. We can only wait for the next chapters to find out for sure.
