I think the author of the manhua wrote 宝贝 (bao bei) and the translator wrote treasure because of the double meaning. (宝贝= treasure or baby)

I can sorta read Chinese but understand a lot more spoken (to an extent) so I rely on google translate's romanization abilities as well as its actual translation for more obscure phrases.
