What BL mangas have you read and just wonder: "why tf did I waste my time and read this?" Or something that made you so angry you wanted to throw your electronic device across the room.
Here U Are..pacing was horrible
Love Is an Illusion....zero character development or love for MC, side couple kinda made up for it but that was 60 chpts in
Leibling...rape was excessive and meaningless to the plot
Dependency X...I can't
Marry me alpha...would take a whole other quarantine to finish my hate rant
There is one more...can't think of the name...an omegaverse with a x gender above alpha. It was so bad my mind blocked out the title. In the first chapter the X gender made everyone pass out from his pheromones but the uke. Then he was like you're conscious so this isn't rple and then brutally rapes the alpha uke and changes his gender
Unfather...i want to unremember
Definitely Ten Count.
I understand so many people adore it, and I am all for fucked up stories and unhealthy relationships, and the fucked up dynamic in it is something that I definitely enjoy ---
But this TRULY pissed me off tbh. I had no idea where it was going, and I thought it was going to be some sweet story about healing especially since the mental illness presented in the manga felt so real.... ONLY FOR THE UKE TO BE MANIPULATED AND ASSAULTED BY THE SEME HE TRUSTED SO.
I felt SO betrayed, and so irrationally angry! Maybe because I started reading it thinking that it was some fluffy and wholesome manga?
As someone struggling with mental health...it doesn't give you an excuse to be a shittie person.
Chowon should not be excused for his actions. What he did was wrong and he should be held accountable for his actions. Saying that I wanted to clear up that: I don't hate Chowon, because he's been through a lot. The only thing I hope for is that he learns and takes focus on his mental health.
yes!he should focus on reflecting and loving himself more. Before loving others.
No one is saying that it’s okay to hurt people if you are mentally ill, it doesn’t excuse your actions. Part of holding people accountable is supporting them in their search to get better. Kyungsoo held him accountable by telling him straight up that no human being should act that way. Realizing this, Chowon decided to start taking his pills. He decided he wanted to get better. He overdosed in that attempt. It’s pretty clear that he’s recognized that he’s hurting people and wants to get better now I think
I TOTALLY AGREE with you. He's trying. HE IS TRYING. And for a mentally ill person that's a BIG MOVE.
I understand where you're coming from and I see that too. I really hope that the author takes that route and really show improvement within the characters and their emotions.
Yes. And it's a good platform to educate people who seems to be unaware that THESE PEOPLE ARE REAL. DEPRESSION is REAL. MENTALLY ILL PEOPLE ARE REAL.They need help. They don't need those judgmental people who only see them as a failure.
EXACTLY!!! That's what I want to see because mental health is RARELY touched base on in 95% of the manga's I've been reading.
It's more of like: "oh yeh it exists" and then they never talk about it again!
Exactly! We're not here to just read the seggs and steamy parts. These sensei's drawing these artworks to convey something to its readers. An awareness of something. To somehow educate along the way. Cause if we don't get what these manga, manhua, mawha are for WE'RE DISAPPOINTING THEM.
