Age gap is something that feels alright among homosexual couples but an ew no among straight couples. And living half of his life as a straight guy doesn't make this easier for Hyeonseon ig. Some of y'all talk as if you wouldn't judge the shit out of a couple with 16 yo age gap, and we only think this is fine because we follow the pov of Hyeonseon and Yoreum.

Nah bro not true. Plenty of gay age gap relationships are weird. I mean I remember that one YouTuber gay god or whatever had a younger boyfriend if 7 years. His boyfriend was 20 and he was 27. Not that big of a gap but he was like pathetic man. When the younger guy broke up with him he would post pics pretending to drown in the bathtub and post videos of him crying to sad music. And in their videos the older one was always weirdly super dependant on the younger one like obsessed with him. Also nvm the fact that plenty of younger gays feel like they gotta rely on older ones bc their parents have abandoned them. It’s about the Indian. As long as ur not pathetic and weird.

You guys are right, but look at the amount of people urging Hyeonseon to just get together with Yoreum like their age gap is no problem at all.
And maybe it's because I'm British but alright doesn't mean good it means like meh. I'm not saying gay age gap is great, it's just more digestible than straight age gaps. I mean, the comments are evidence enough lol

Matthew lush and nickalaws. Matthew was the older one. Keep in mind I have not watched a single video after his downwards spiral making videos of him crying and drowning Jin the bathtub and that was like 15 years ago. While googling their names for you I did find a video nickalaws made talking about what it was actually like back then called “10 years later” which confirms my suspicions that he felt like he got groomed. Or in the very least Matthew was super forceful, overly dependant, obsessive and toxic.

Guys don't get too excited over the they/them pronouns. I'm not too sure how pronouns in the Korean language work but I assume it's different from English. Like in Chinese sometimes pronouns are omitted so when we don't know the gender of the character we just translate it as they/them. But idk about Korean
People who shit on Hyeonseon annoy me so much like this might be a story but it reflects real life. Us the younger generation might be more open-minded but remember that Hyeonseon is a divorced middle aged straight guy in fucking Korea. It's already not easy being gay in Korea but with 16 year age gap?? You'll have to throw away all your previous values in the first half of your life to be able to accept that. And the guilt is real, inferiority complex or not. Be more understanding, use your open minds y'all. Let him take his time to come to terms with himself
Thank you fr
