yeah and the ml still didn’t do anything to the fl until after she came back three years later when she was 20 years old. at that point she still liked him, and I think she was matured enough at that point. even when she was 17 years old she knew it wouldnt be right to get together immediately and had the intention of asking the ml to wait for her to become legal to get together. i totally get your point on how at 17 she wasnt matured enough, but im sure during the three years she was gone she got a grasp on the situation and matured enough to get with the ml.
