their past was toxic and their dynamic ended up being built that way, but the bond (and chemistry) between Ian and TJ is just too strong to leave behind. It seems that, even if TJ has issues, that he puts Ian first making me think that he would change if it came down to it. I think the connection b/w Ian and Jo is sweet but nothing that feels like it would lead to a forever other than it being the first time Ian is with someone who comes from a clean environment. It's really going to suck if he chooses Jo but based on how the story started I wouldn't be surprised. I could see TJ risking and losing his life to protect Ian and that leading to him picking Jo.
Their chemistry is definitely stronger because they’ve known each other longer, but I still won’t forget how TJ did that to Ian’s leg. He’s too toxic sorry, but he definitely cares. Jo is the much healthier choice and leading to a “forever”compared to TJ, if he risked everything and being in gang despite iirc Ian wanting to run away, he definitely doesn’t prioritize Ian first for a “forever”.
Not going to suck if he chooses Jo. jo is much better person overall. But not sure if Ian deserves him, I think Ian and TJ should stay together and get my man Jo a different man who won’t stay in a gang.
TJ doesn't put Ian first. He puts himself first. That's why he...let me check my list.
Orchestrated an accident, made Ian have to murder someone to defend himself, ensured Ian did jail time, put Ian in debt, and now is manipulating him to stay in his life.
Yup, that definitely sounds like a guy who puts Ian first.
Love the sarcasm. I agree with all you said. TJ is hot but I’m not blind, he’s too toxic and needs help. Even Ian seems pressured and just almost on the edge/anxious around him, having to go to him when called and being the shoulder. While it’s normal to comfort your friends, their history is just toxic.
their eccentric moral compasses and values make them an ideal match, however even if she's indifferent about him sleeping w others.. I still can't wrap my head around how he can claim to be in love w her to the obsessive degree he does while balls deep in other women. it feels more like he's taken advantage of her carefree nature, especially given he's told her he would kill any man she pursues. sought out a whole ass woman whilst on her own turf behind her back
bro they both suck yahwi doesn't grasp consent and cain is a whole ass freak
It's not nice, you think it's nice someone who out of nowhere says that you are the love of his life, interferes in your life, gets into your house, and insists on you in every way, and as if that weren't enough, you don't know him? And he also hides important things from you, he leaves the country and doesn't tell you anything about it, and after you realize it, he doesn't even give you an explanation? Is that nice to you?
And with this I do not justify Yahwi's actions either.
am I the only one who felt the art and personalities were all over the place this chapter? it really threw me off but I'm happy to see things become more settled
