Stories like this are to "BL/yaoi/gay media" what a tuna sandwich is to vegetarian/vegan cuisine, utterly incompatible. The central premise, wherein a man transforms into a woman to become "fuckable" or a viable partner, reeks of misogyny, homophobia and lack of imagination, exposing society's irrational aversion to genuine male-male relationships and activities. "Straight" media is vying for an "imaginatively challenged" award, I see
To those of you who support the "straight" agenda and its fetishization of women's bodies, yet scold us BL/yaoi fans as "fetishizers" for our (perfectly valid) disinterest in "straight/bi" content, I proffer a mirror of introspection. It is within your reflections that the fetishizers will be revealed, the "straight" lifestyle fetishizers—the worst of the lot. You are the villains in your own misguided tale
Witnessing an alpha maliciously inject pheromones into a beta to transform them into an obedient omega is nauseating. The beta is left powerless against their own body and mind. If only they had a magical portal to teleport them out of this pheromone-induced nightmare! Maybe then I could sleep better at night!
Seriously, finding "omegaverse" in the BL/yaoi genre is like finding hair in your soup; it’s disgusting, doesn’t belong there, and needs to be swiftly removed
Just when you think you’ve seen it all, in swoops "omegaverse" with its new brand of cringe. I wish I had a magic wand to make the whole "omegaverse" and "mpreg" fiasco vanish into thin air ... poof!
I love eating angst for dinner. In the bl supremacy pyramid its Chinese danmei> Japanese Manga> korean manhwa> Chinese manhua.
Yo! LazyCat here!!
Aren't you feeling tired or lonely? well, because I am!!
HAHA yeah... I'm a lonesome person...
I'm too lazy, I'll end the introduction here! Byeee~
ORV hard to the core fanatic (。•ᴗ-)✧
In a spirit of sincere critique, I must concede that the art style exhibited in "Codename Anastasia" was a visual delight. But the story fell short of my expectations. Specifically, the inclusion of graphic "straight" encounters within Chapters 23-28 blemished an experience that otherwise held promise
I seek out BL/yaoi content to engage with a realm that diverges from the heterosexist, homophobic constraints of our societal paradigm. I don't seek BL/yaoi to see the unimaginative, off-putting carnal entanglements between a man and a woman. I can't help but lament the squandered potential of this Manhwa. The artistic virtuosity that could have been harnessed to craft intricate and nuanced depictions of intimacy between men was misdirected towards the endorsement of the tired, detrimental, "straight" lifestyle
The implications of the situation are unsettling and disheartening. I urge the creative forces behind "Codename Anastasia" to reflect upon their priorities and reassess the manner in which their talents are deployed
TL;DR I disagree with the claim that "the 3some was hot." It was a distasteful, abhorrent display, a veritable assault on the senses. It would surely incite an overwhelming wave of revulsion within any rational observer
A stunning artwork is regrettably wasted on yet another ugly, convoluted "straight-with-extra-steps/fake-BL" omegaverse story. People should understand that Omegas are women with highly masculine features meant to be ... raped and impregnated by Alphas. The underlying rape and bestiality fetishes intrinsic to Omegaverse settings—with Alphas and Omegas succumbing to ruts and heats, being reduced to less than human, etc—further detract from the artwork's potential
The stunning art style caught my eye, and I started reading the Korean version (found on ridibooks). Chapter 16 tells us the reason behind Jihan's fear of commitment, the reason why he said, "I don't want to be tied down to one person." Spoiler alert, it's a past betrayal! His schoolmate, whom he loved and dated, cheated on him. Having caught his then-boyfriend/hyung in the act, Jihan was shocked, angry, devastated. He confronted the cheater and was met with an outrageous response: "I don't understand why you're upset. You were naïve. I keep changing partners, and everyone else knows that." The cheater callously shifted the blame to Jihan's supposed naïveté. He took advantage of Jihan's inexperience, played with his feelings and discarded him
Laying on the rain-soaked floor—his body trembling from the cold, his heart aching with pain—Jihan "gave up on love." He said, "I don't want to be at the mercy of such a fickle emotion anymore"
This traumatic experience shattered Jihan's trust. He feels inadequate and fears his current partners will tire of him and leave. I know Jinyoung and Heeseop are different. They genuinely love and care for Jihan. My hope is that their love will mend Jihan's wounded heart, guiding him toward loving and trusting once more
I wish I could snap my fingers and make "omegaverse" or so-called "mpreg" disappear, but I guess I'll have to settle for giving it and its fans a dirty look. I'll burn a hole through their screens with my glare

"Keep it in, let's hold myself back one last time. And after this last time, you're so fucked Seyeong" (chapter 41)
Heejae was swept up in the fantasy world of the game, convinced that the character Sesam was played by a woman. That was delusional of him. But when the illusion shattered, and he learned that the player behind Sesam is a man, Heejae set out on a mission to woo and wound Seyeong. Everything he did was intentional to break Seyeong's heart
Despite his best efforts to keep his heart at bay, Heejae will feel drawn to Seyeong, won't he? Heejae and Seyeong will find themselves entangled in a web of emotions that go beyond the game. They will step out of their "straight" comfort zones
Was Seyeong wrong to pretend to be a woman? Yes. Was Heejae wrong to assume Sesam's player was a woman? Yes. Behind every character, there's a person with a story, and behind every story, there's a truth waiting to be uncovered. They both should have apologized and made up/out 20 chapters ago
I wish I could snap my fingers and make "omegaverse" or so-called "mpreg" disappear, but I guess I'll have to settle for giving it and its fans a dirty look

fujoshis dni i hate fucks like you <3
I feel bad for the author/artist. She's doing her best for us, and her "fans" are pelting her or her work with rotten fruit and vegetables. She deserves better. Her gorgeous, dreamy art style transports me, the reader, to the wild world of the story. She captures the grace of her male characters, making morally grey scenes still appear intensely beautiful. Her characters are complex and flawed. Dan is indecisive, stuck and overly anxious. Jaekyung is aggressive, pushing himself past his limits and reaching an emotional breaking point. He snaps easily and gets frustrated over the smallest things. Or withdraws completely, and nothing has an effect on him. Both instances showcase trauma
Dan and Jaekyung are two traumatized men that I hope will find love and comfort in each other's arms
Imagine you're thirsty. You want a glass of water. I give you a glass of toilet water from the public bathroom's toilet bowl. How would you feel? That's not what you wanted, or meant. You would be upset, right? That's how those of us who dropped the manhwa felt when we read chapters 23-27. We wanted a BL/yaoi. A gay story about the fiery passion of a deep embrace between two complex and fully fleshed-out male characters. What did we get? "Straight" porn. For 3-4 chapters. Pretty upsetting
The male characters are bisexual, I understand that, but I'm sure the authors could have conveyed that message via SFW, non-graphic means. They treated their readers like we are stupid. Like we need to be shown every second that the men fuck women to finally say, "hey, they are bisexual! Who could have guessed"
It ruined the moment and disconnected some of us from the story
Hello and welcome,
I read eveything, mostly Seinen, Shonen and BL, Yaoi.
I prefer to buy physical books, so sadly there won't be many of the stories I like here that I can buy, but I'm grateful I can read freely on this site. Thanks to all the people who can make this happen.

BL AND YAOI, ANALYSIS AND HISTORY:
A fuck up genre where SA and rape are parts of the process of building a romantic relationship.
In regards of this, people who are fighting over rape in these fictions are both right and wrong, because there is romance, then rape/SA involved and entangled all together.
Reminding: BL was created by the Japanese people, who have a fucked up imaginary and phantasms of hetero relationship and sex (a patriarcal society), where rape and SA are romanticized in these interactions; this is shown through their culture, anime... and this aspect is particularly prevalent in medias like MANGA (specially Hentai, Yaoi, Josei.... porn frange of anime) where when the ML SA/forces the Uke, MC, FL into intercourse, this is seen as parts of the relationship's process/build up. "I like you so much that I can't help myself...", "I secretly desire you but since I don't know what to do about it...", "You're so precious, so innocent that I can't help but force you and ruin that innocence..." blabla and other bullshits... To sum, we can see the fucked up reasoning and kinda pedo and disturbing mindset behind this. While this was greatly prevalent in Hentai and seen as a natural element to that category, it takes also places in Yaoi (the more NSFW version of BL) despite the authors and creators of such works being females for the most.
In the end, there is romance, and also SA, rape in these stories that are clearly romanticized in the Japanese BL/Yaoi. One of the first BLs that got very popular contains a lot of rape despite its cute and shojo art.
The popularity of this specific story launched the BL genre and contributes for its growth to the lectures we know today.
Korean authors who produce today Yaoi grew up reading Japanese Yaoi, that's why their stories are similar to the Japanese's.
This is not to say that rape in these fictions is excusable, but to remind that in these stories, rape and SA are yes, romanticized and parts of the roots core of BL. You can see this as the evil root of the BL tree.
Since Asian Eastern (Japan)'s view on rape, SA... differs from the West's (at least in their fantasy), this results in these endless fights between readers, contributing into making this kind of stories even more popular.
Since romance and rape are so entangled together in BL and the gravity of such mixture mostly brushed off, if we want to make these stories less rapey, we may as well anihilate the whole BL. We can try, but it'll be difficult...
