spoilers? just some info on astor to clear the doubts
Astor was assigned female at birth, but dresses in men's clothes while working as a knight and wears their hair short. While it is heavily hinted that they are a woman when they're at a public bath (chapter 12 of the manhwa), the whole purpose of the story is to have the reader confused if they're a man or woman until the very end of the novel. Astor is literally supposed to be a gender-bender character, so think of them as more of a nonbinary and/or genderfluid character that uses she/her and they/them pronouns, at least until an "official" translation comes out.
Astor loves food and is easily bribed with food since they grew up in a house with a lot of siblings. Because she is a woman in a BL novel, she did not fall for Asterion, so MC assigns Astor as her personal knight.
