maybe he try to slowly make anita his,
since anita only think about revenge, herman try to sabotage her plan while stay at her side so after the twist and turn when Anita's plan failed, she will have no one to turn to but Herman.
despite of that, I actually want a good ending for Anita, it's just so unfair for her ╥﹏╥

first of all sorry for my english, and it quite a while when I last read the novel, so basically ser put ancia soul in her body cuz in the middle of her rage last time after the flashback ser hit anchia with too much of her power until ancia almost died, ser get flustered and immediately switching their soul so ancia don't die and this also the way of ser to tell ancia that his man (blake-humam) not truly her just like what philip does to her (so stupid actually) and bla bla bla ofc that's not gonna happen just like waht this so called goodess want!!! >:(
