My heart goes out to both Sumi and Utou. I don't blame them at all. Utou kindness was also his weakness and Sumi disposition got the best of him. I feel like even if they were together and Sumi didn't get bitten by Shiratori, it still wouldn't work for the simple fact that Utou being a beta wouldn't be enough to control Sumi urges. He would still be at risk of being raped and even being whisked away if a fated alpha should appear No matter how much their hearts yearn for one another their bodies won't allow it. That rejection is serious for Sumi. I pray hope it ends well for them both
