i feel like chanwoo is afraid that md will start to act like his abusive exes and he likes the way things are now with md and how md is treating him well and he doesn't want that to end once they start dating
this entire manga felt like a fever dream. I read the whole thing in one sitting and... it was an experience. like a lot of other people have pointed out, the plot just gets lost somewhere along the lines. imo the ending and epilogue were the only good parts.
