New translation makes so much sense. Nori is actually friendly and a teaser at that. From what i could also gather was Suguru is a hs student, around 17. Nori could be in his early 20s. Anyway, this is still interesting to read and I hope it goes well!

Blamed/framed for shit he didn't do. And now Granny, the only person in his life who cared for him since young, is now slowly withering away. He can't do much other than spend more quality time with her, clearly he's afraid of losing her and being alone.
Everyone manages their mentality differently and maybe you'll say "This ain't nothing." That's true for you, but it's not for everyone.
