Thought This was going to be the usual dark amazing male lead saving all helpless meek women, then falls for the talented unsuspecting female lead. Don’t get me wrong I still would have read that. But this just knocked that cliche story line out of the park! The girls are the actual bad asses here! And we love it.
I love this so much!! Seriously so good! Characters are just so rich and awesome! And you can’t help but to love a little part of all of them.

I don’t understand why they without question thought the rumors about the saintess daughter were true? Like it took the king several tries to be like “oh oh the saintess(who is straight up evil and killed my bro for no reason) lied?”…. Like why did no one ever go, “hey, whatever information that comes from the temple run by the saintess should perhaps be, idk, double checked”…. Lying is like the bottom tier evil thing she has done.
