Problematic things aside, I'm glad that after seeing the guy kissing her he was worried about her and comforted her first instead of retaliating against the guy first because of jealousy.

Honestly they have 0 chemistry together. I don't see the need for there to be such forced romance when similar stories but with male mcs do well (or even better) with no romance at all.
