chapter 2 was soooo good!!! i was kicking my legs from how cute it was
Looks really promising from the first chapter!! I love the fact it’s set in the countryside, i recently reread barakamon and was craving a countryside slice of life. Nearly teared up when he started walking into the ocean
it’s pretty clear that his subordinates are way stronger than him, so why do they listen to him? they’re supposed to be crazy and out of control, right? why do they take commands from someone who is so much weaker than them..
He's respectful to them and let them be who they are, I guess.

I think it’s more out of a matter of respect instead of just listening to him they also rely on him to take care of duties as their leader and in return he’ll most likely get treated like a real leader since they know that they need someone to lead them if they want to stay working platoon(and none of them really want that duty most likely) but also since almost no one wants to take care of the “crazy” ones and our mc hasn’t really seemed to object to the idea knowing that someone weaker stepped up to take care of them probably put that respect needed for them to “listen” to him so to say(that probably seems like mushed of rambling sorryg
agreed with all of the above! that sort of mutual respect is super important especially since it's something very difficult to come by. not to mention our mc is quite special himself... it requires some real "craziness" to dedicate yourself and your entire life so wholly to his dream. crazies recognize crazies!

mmm this latest conflict really makes no sense which makes me sad considering how much i love this story.. but i can just excuse it for teenage bullshittery. Who hasn’t done obnoxiously entitled stuff to other people when they were a teenager?
Another story that capitalises off of the abuse and oppression of women but does nothing to confront this in an engaging way.
