Anyone else feeling a lil iffy abt how the author is writing the top? At first I was like fuck it up, wear those cute booty shorts, but now I feel like their character has low key been reduced to using forceful methods and pushing their love on the bottom. Also we’re not going to act like the bottom did not just said that if he doesn’t change his outwards appearance he won’t be able to fall in love with him. I kinda wish more time was spent on fleshing out the top’s back story cause I think there a some important topics that could’ve been discussed (especially around being trans and drag). But that’s just my two cents nd wanted to know if it was just me...

I hate that on tiktok Harada-Sen is only known for their rly dark works and everyone’s like ewww they’re such a bad writer when they have such bangers like Yatamomo and Yoru to Asa and this one. Like yes some of their stuff is fucked and they writes with a dark undertone but let’s not act like they’re not a good writer.
Personally I like that in their writing they touch on the dark underbelly of society but I will say some works do make me uncomfy

Idk how to explain like usually w other stories sometimes the dark aspect can feel so sudden or forced but w Harada it just slowly creeps into the story . Like everything is normal and then bOOM . The gradual approach makes the dark stuff even more disturbing for me (￣∇￣")

Right like I think Harada is rly good at storytelling and I like that her characters are kinda realistic in the way they deal with it bc I think ppl think that when trauma happens people have to take time and deal with it but for a lot of people they tend to laugh it off or try to continue with their lives and sometimes breakdown which Harada shows rly well (ex. Yatamomo)

Idk I don’t rly care if Azusa or whatever gets hurts bc yeah I get that he rly loved Kaede but to use your pheromones to force him to mark you...he’s not the only person who has had to let go of someone they’re in love with. Moreover yeah they’re cute but I feel like he forced Kaede into a tight spot. He should’ve let Kaede decide for himself or talk abt it with him instead of catching and coercing him when he was down.
