the characters were so complex, the emotion and pain was so raw. both of them were so ejsjsmsn, one drowned himself in miserable love and the other was drowning in blond hatred and ignorance. this was the worst dynamic I've ever seen. DON'T READ THIS (but do if you want unparalleled angst)

PLUS THE Mc's TRAUMA like prejejnwnsndbfh can we take a moment of silence for that man's childhood. he literally forgot how he's supposed to cry. his emotions were suppressed and he was abused and HE WAS TOLD TO HIDE HIS EMOTIONS?!?! ultimately he became a joke of an adult. it's pitiful, let's take child abuse seriously. if any of you reading this ever abuse your children or younger people around you, I hope you end up in the ground :D
