Yeah its not everybodys tea, I was like that and dropped it on my first read, but then I reread and surprisingly got hooked cuz on the later chapters its going good. For real, he is very possessive and manipulative. But well for me, the story got better and its adorable. Especially when you understand why his personality is like that (⌒▽⌒)

I'm conflicted. I'm happy they got their happy ending but everything feels off? Am I the only one who didn't like the story? There was nothing "real" or relatable" in my opinion. Just unnecessary drama and heartache.

First of all the fact that they moved in together after 2 months of knowing each other is mind boggling to me but I understand love doesn't have a time limit for some people.
Secondly tom did cheat on his boyfriend. He admitted himself he got hard etc etc. He was not at fault for the attempted rape cause irl and in yaoi world we don't shame rape survivors. However he literally felt some sort of way for another dude? Again not referring to the rape situation but prior to that. Was he developing feelings? Was he bored? Pent up? Don't know but I felt icky reading through some chapters.
Thirdly this was so flat and underwhelming. The only thing that kept their relationship was sex. I love sex scenes but even I got bored. There wasn't any substantial connection or anything. Maybe I'm the only one who felt that way but I saw nothing, no development or communication at all. They will continue to have problems in the future I'm sure. Basically nothing got solved.
Lastly maybe that wasn't the author's intention but I felt like we were supposed to feel sorry for the rapist? I have 0 sympathy/empathy or anything else for the motherfucker. He didn't even feel sorry for what he did he just felt sad for himself. And Tom kept trying to approach him? And be kind to him? Ew.
I genuinely feel so disappointed I was expecting so much from reading the comments. Everything felt flat and one dimensional to me.
Loved the art, plot had potential it just never hit the spot for me. Looking forward to reading more from this author though.

it was mentioned a few time but he wasn’t intense I think he just had the personality of a delinquent (like he would have many girlfriends, bad grades and all)

I don't know how to feel about this manga. Even though it's 40 chapters long it feels rushed and undeveloped. Their love happened too fast, no?
