i have a lot to say and think about this.
Since we don't actually know how Kloff felt about Aeroc in the first timeline, it's hard to say anything about this. For example that cunning smile when Aeroc saw him and Rapiel together. It felt like he was trying to make him jealous or something cause he knows that they could never be a pair. I feel like he gaslit Aeroc into thinking there could be more. That would make my blood boil as well ngl. Still, Aeroc should have calmed the fuck down. It is no excuse to order someone to g***r*** the fiancé??? Like: Can't you take a no? He clearly wasn't interested. For me Aeroc wasn't actually in love. He was obsessed with Kloff and had the illusion to be in love. Kloff was also disgusting as hell. Six children? And the whole physical and mental abuse? Everybody is crazy in that timeline wth. They definitely deserve each other.

It’s somewhat explained a little more thoroughly in the book. Later you find out that Aeroc was never turned into an omega- he was some sort of late bloomer omega, and apparently him and Kloff imprinted from the beginning, which is why he ends up acting pretty crazy. But also! He was a frivolous dirtbag too.
And yeah, 100% - Kloff is manipulative and psychotic.
The only reason I love this as much as I do is because I skipped the first timeline entirely lmao.
Hey, btw, Aeroc never meant to actually get Rapiel messed up. He paid the goons to only threaten him a little. Never physically harm him. And I'm not saying this as an excuse. I still think he should've calmed the fuck down but y'know as kris90 said, that bloody mate bond got both 'em crazy in the head. And to disagree, no, they don't deserve each other. Aeroc deserves someone who shows him healthy love. He paid for his sins and he Accepted his fault. He never once made excuses for whatever happened to Rapiel unlike Kloff. He took it all because in his mind he deserved the abuse for "killing" Rapiel. But Kloff? The revenge he pulled? He did it to justify his anger toward Aeroc being an Alpha and not being able to have him and his own guilt of marrying Rapiel when he never once loved him. He disguised his hatred and wrath as avenging Rapiel. That is how he justified his abuse, all the rape and taking the children away from Aeroc. And still Aeroc never said a word of protest. You can see by how easily Kloff was drawn to Aeroc in the 2nd timeline cuz the latter ignored him. （￣へ￣）
