I swear to god, this new character ain't good news. And the thing that upsets me the most is this is basically following in the steps of "My Suha". Yknow, the new red head was a character who was important in Suha's past (in a BAD way) and ends up "kidnapping" him with his friend and yknow . It's horrible. I hope this guy is a good person- When you see a manly red head that's a new character, SIS RUN. DASH ♀
Aw Shucks. If Number 15 doesn't fess up and apologize and if Louis and Zach don't accept it, Louis gonna end up moving beds and a whole load of shit will go down. Yeah, I know, a very cliché plot is what I see coming but I hope the author changes it because I really don't want to have to face and go through tears and angst in yet another manhwa. *Deep sigh*
Right I'm going to go on a rampage now, so enjoy.
I don't know what to say about the ending to be honest. I decided to binge read it because of summaries I've watched online and found it rather interesting. There were some scenes that rather disturbed me and others that I could sit through. It was a rollercoaster for sure.
At first, I had to go back to re-read the ending chapter to realise that... Bum... ACTUALLY died. I would've thought he'd have had some chance of survival but with the state he was in already (having just recovered), both physically and mentally, he wouldn't have survived.
Having heard summaries online, I felt bad for Sangwoo. I finally read it and I don't understand. I feel sad because there's this little bit of hope telling me that Sangwoo could've changed and then there's the part that reminds me of every brutal thing he's done. I don't know where I stand between those two feelings but I know for sure that I don't like that old lady- Sure, it probably wasn't her fault, she didn't like the noise but just seeing as how he died so... easily and vulnerably? I don't know if those are the proper words to describe what I feel but you should get the jist. Seeing all the things he had done just a second ago, and then all of a sudden he's gone. There's no more Sangwoo. And the part that made me break down in even more confusion was that Yoonbum even bought rings that he wanted to put on his finger and he couldn't even do that. I don't remember clearly but I think that's what he wanted to give Sangwoo when he mistook Yoonbum for trying to poison him (somewhere around that time I think). I don't remember so don't come at me, please.
Either way, Yoonbum was never going to see Sangwoo again so I think that was a fair ending.
Although what would Yoonbum have done after that anyways? Would he actually have been able to become mentally stable? I think the same thing that happened with Sangwoo and visions/memories/illusions of his mum would've happened to Yoonbum after. I mean it did already, it drove him crazy till the point Yoonbum got himself killed. I find it sad that the last thing Yoonbum saw before dying was his "lover" with another woman -which was something he despised- and was even covered in his ashes. What a way to leave.
Anyways, I wonder what happened with Seungbae afterwards, I was really looking forward to a continuation but like I mentioned before, it was a fair ending- you know, that Yoonbum was able to leave that horrible state he was in, leaving all his mental trauma behind? I don't know, I'm leaving it at that and I'm quite glad I got to go on a rant because it really helped me make up my mind about this whole situation. I was struggling to come to a conclusion and I'm happy with this. I'll continue to check out more of Koogi's works- Ah, and thank you to whoever actually read all this!
Right I'm going to go on a rant. The author is really doing this aren't they. They're breaking my heart, KIlLiNG mE SOFtLy--. Anyways, they told us what red bitch and newbie are going to do and then HAVE THE DECENCY TO SHOW US CUTE MOMENTS OF SUHA AND JIWOON SIS IMMA THROW HANDSSSD. I hate to admit this, but I think by this point we all know what's going to have to happen. Or we can hope Jiwoon doesn't let Suha out of his sight because if he goes home alone or stays alone, he's at risk .
Who else gets WangXian vibes? I know, I know, don't come at me in the replies, BUT (I forgot names ) the seme is like Lan Zhan, yknow shirt replies, quite introverted, not many people around him, etc. And the uke is kind of like Wei Wuxian (has a close friend to him, sociable, skilled, etc). ಥ╭╮ಥ
