I’m so glad they’re finally realizing they’re both the problem. However, it seems Leo’s the only one at the moment that’s willing to talk it out. I’m a bit scared that JJ is still going to bottle things up and Leo begins to overcompensate and exhaust himself in the process. I really hope they communicate in the next chap before they do some bedroom olympics. But at least this is a start :D

Trying to look at this objectively without taking any sides, it’s clear both are at fault. Leo’s a brat. He’s very childish and likes to get his way. And for the most part he’s emotionally immature. So he ends up taking things at face value and for granted. He had sex with JJ and basically had him as a baby sitter because eveything seemed fine. Nothing appeared to be wrong. So he took him for granted. JJ on the other hand, has the emotional intelligence of a brick wall. He takes all the hits and will never budge. So he does that. He let’s his boyfriend keep getting his way. And he let’s him. In a way encouraging this behavior. He knows something is wrong and what’s happening isn’t right, but he let’s it happen. Why? Because he won’t budge like the brick wall that he is.
But brick walls don’t last forever. And so finally he crumbles. And what does he do? Avoid the problem. Leo confronts him and for once was probably willing to listen, and JJ reprimands him and seems to finally be ready to communicate. But he doesn’t. Because sometimes only part of a brick wall falls. So he doesn’t budge and avoids the problem entirely.
Now we get to where we are currently. Leo being the immature brat that he is, doesn’t know what’s wrong. In fact i’m pretty sure he was unaware that anything was wrong. So he does what he knew best. Sex. That’s the one thing he assumed both of them enjoyed so he proposed the idea. Because he has to get his way. JJ, still unwilling to budge and communicate, accepts even though he knows this is wrong. And so they do. They become friends with benefits and obviously there are no benefits. Leo who’s always gotten his way finally realizes that this time, he’s not getting what he wants. And JJ who refuses to open up is now bottling up more things and he ends up being petty because that’s the only way he feels he can express himself.
And then we get to the latest chapter. Both are now most likely feeling the actual weight of what happened with them. They refused to acknowledge the problem and they refused to even address the problem in the first place. Maybe they need some time off apart? Maybe they need to see new people first? But one thing’s for sure, these two can’t move on. At least not until they finally communicate with each other. Seems the the author might pull the ‘major life threatening event’ card so they can finally realize their feelings for one another. But i digress.
Please don’t upload the templscan translations here. They’ve been adamant about their warning. Just read it on their site, it’s a quick google search. As for the uploader, i suggest you remove the uploads. This is where the translation friction begins because there’s clearly already a translator and uploader for this. As for why they haven’t been uploading, only asking them will tell. You should’ve asked and confirmed with both translating teams if it was alright to take over and reupload their translations. And can we please stop with the zinchan uploads. It’s been removed time and time again but it keeps being reuploaded. Please stop insisting on uploading those. No it doesn’t look great and no the translations are not good either. If you wanna keep the peace, you just leave these works be unless you have definitive permission. And no this isn’t a threat. I’m saying this for your own good. People have been doxxed for doing similar things, so be careful what you upload and post.
From what i learned with hospice nurses, there’s always a moment of clarity for their dying patients. A sudden jolt of energy, like a last push of the body to squeeze everything out for survival. Or maybe it’s the body’s way of saying farewell. But the moment i saw the grandpa getting ‘better’, it was pretty much this. He’s not getting better. He’s dying. This is his body’s last ditch effort to perhaps have more time with his grandson. No the seme didn’t lie. If anything he probably never had the ability to prolong grandpa’s life. This is just the beautifully tragic way a person can die. Unfortunately for a lot of us, we probably won’t even experience it. But for those that do, cherish your time. The body will do what it has to before it lets itself pass.

I think more than feeling guilty for getting him pregnant, he was most guilty about his feelings being as shallow as instinct.
