Tbh I don't really know...I don't know how Ash could accept Klein's love.
He doesn't love "her", he loves the woman Ash served before and since she is dead he resorts to Ash to remember those days.
If that woman was alive, Klein wouldn't not even look at Ash.
He is basically using her as replacement and he didn't even hide it.
Look, Klein was my favourite before. I happily rolled in bed everytime he said something sweet to Ash. But now after finding out the truth...every chapter when he sweet talks Ash it looks like a big giant lie. And tbh it even irritates me...
Does someone share similar thoughts?
I agree as well. Plus the fact Ash basically rejected him initially yet he persisted. Like honestly I don’t like Klein as the ML, every interaction between the two seems so forced and insincere where one is looking to fill the void of another person and the other is just going with the motions. Like I don’t think the meeting of minds/feelings that’s usually in a relationship is there. It’s just two people feeding each others delusions. To me, everything Klein has done so far gives story book prince and not real life love. And I feel they had more chemistry in the beginning, which can be argued is bcs he doesn’t really know Ash but still. Now maybe this will change but idk. Honestly, rn I’d prefer if Ash was single at the end or there was another ML introduced later for her to be with cuz atp I just don’t see that chemistry w her and any of the current ML (maybe the magician but even then he would need some MAJOR character development cuz he gives little brother energy to me still).
Exactly! If I have to choose someone now, the only potential partner I can bear with is the magician (but I hope in more developments for him).
Sir Mio should remain as friend and Klein, I would hope so bad for him to be fully rejected.
I like Ash because she is the type to prioritise her well being to others. It was realistic.
It's so Not her if she accepted Klein convenient and unhealthy form of love.
Omg yes! You just put into words why the way she acts w Klein now gives me the ick. It just doesnt fit her character. But then again I fear she might go along w it because she’s like “well I don’t want to be alone and considering the kind of world I’m in now..”. I pray the story doesn’t go that way tho, cuz if it does I’ll literally vaporize
For sure! His type of romance is reminding me of either The Adventures of a Demon King's Daughter or Lia’s Bad Ending -
The former which actually did have a ML change from the original (who was obsessed with the original FL in her past life) and a happier/healthier ending imo
The latter with a similar concept and situation as Klein but at least two MLs are actually interested in the MC for who she is as an individual being. Klein’s mental development is so slow, it doesn’t feel like he deserves Ash.
I am desperately trying to figure out why Ash is so different from any other MC in isekai mangas.
She fears to die (and I already saw it in thousands of stories), she is not weak (and there are other Mcs like this too) but the times she is weak don't annoy me.
She looks like the type she doesn't care, but then she acts as if she cares a lot.
I don't know how to describe her and this drives me crazy.
She's simply unique. I read something like 50 isekai stories but I can't compare her to any other MC.
What is that makes her so unique?
I think her uniqueness is in how the author writes her. Unlike many other MCs of isekai stories she’s not just a self insert Mary Sue type of character that the author/readers can project onto or to just be a random slate to dish out the same type of romance story. She is her own individual and written as such. Ashe is written like a real person, not just a character in a story. Honestly I had a similar thought when reading the latest chapter where they disagreed w each other which showed different pov and forced Ash to reflect on her pov. Also probably because it’s not really a romance manhwa. Like it is but romance isn’t the main focus of the story and it is not even the solution to Ash’s problems (I like how the author addressed this too). In a lot of the other isekai stories the only way the MC gets a happy ending is through a relationship w a male character and her worth is always validated by how those said characters perceive her. And if someone was to ask me the genre I’d say it’s a drama/fantasy/mystery novel before I’d say it’s a romance. Moreover, unlike in other isekais, the side women characters, are not flattened into one dimensional characters made to be constantly compared to the MC. Therefore they feel more authentic, Ash’s interactions w them are more authentic, and this Ash feels more authentic/different because you have a fleshed out realistic character interacting w other fleshed out realistic characters that are not there to be stepping stones to said character or her image. I have more to say on this but I think I’ve gone overboard but it’s something I’ve also thought about a lot.
Basically Cain won't have a story because his whole purpose in the world is to follow Jooin's order to live and be happy?
I never, NEVER, saw a character so poorly written.
That could have made a good premise to make his own story and maybe grow as person and character and to build a good plot around his growth and gradually taking distance from Jooin. But nah, in the end every character focus only on Jooin.
I sincerely hope the writer doesn't write anymore because they are not good at doing this. There is nothing good in this story: not the characters, not the plot, not the development.
The only thing that I wanted from this story was actually an arc for Cain, but nope we don't even deserve that?
Sorry author, but no. You have SO wronged me.
This is literally one of my favourite stories!
I want moreeeee!!! ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
