The way how she is portrait, her emotions going against FL in tactful way, reason behind it make her truthful. I can't imagine that in real life in the same situation with the same history accept FL easily. Her pride was already shattered, she heard only one convey between stupid husband and his guard she could not know what else was said also that FL and ML relationship would fulfill wish of her husband and as a reason in some way to mock her own marriage that would be unnatural if she would just say oh well let it be a special that there are other options as well.
As a person from country where church for long time had authority I just don't feel good about romance between priests and sister. She become sister to save herself but he I suppose got a call from God that means he is weak in his faith or is like priests during medieval - who chose church only to get power or money.
I struggle with that as well. It seems the set up for this story is that all religious people take it pretty seriously (unlike other stories) so I want to take the vow for the priest serious too. Makes me uncomfortable knowing they will probably end up together.
omg same like I like the story but why is the priest having 14 year old boy dreams?! romance is not necessary in everything lol. but also I am from a Christian nation so for us marriage is allowed. but if you decide not to marry you should stick to your decision smh
He is just a kid, younger than FL and without character which is able to be compared to character of FL. For me or ML didn't show up still or it should be spirit king
Teve is a year older than her... She mentioned it in c7 L. The Prince looks like the typical "you're interesting" vibe character and the spirit King looks like he will end up as the second male lead......just My opinion tho(〜￣△￣)〜

Keith was rase as typical alpha and rich guy. It will be really surprised if he changed at the start. Still he was ready to rise someone's else baby as his he was helping MC after he was rape. Don't forget he is alpha and that's what makes him the way he is. I don't find him bad. Yes he is sometimes take over by his instinct. He isn't faithful but also remember he was straight from the start this is how he is. As of photos in internet first he could do it to lure MC out of his shelter or he tried to be as he always was before meeting MC whatever is the reason I know many worse characters than he is
In opinion most of you is bad but first you don't know what version of the story he knows. You always try to protect people you love and their enemies are yours. Second uke is masochist and it's his fault too. He never even once tried say to ML his side of the story. Keeping ML in dark about some truth from past it's harming not only him but all the family . You may say that ML wouldn't believe UKE yes but who's fault it's. If for 3 years you are keeping your mouth then nobody will take you serious later when opposite side poured so many lies already. I won't blame Seme yes he is rough ( Asian style of S&M) but according his knowledge he is only taking revenge for unwanted marriage and separation from loved one
is that you can't put it in any time frame. Someone who created this story really messed up with history background. From one side it is time when Prusia occupied Poland so late XVIII to 1918 from other side we have Leah, Noa and Brill who at that time would be closed at mental hospital ( from way they behave and are) not to mention plague which looks like taken from dark ages.

Not to mention the clothing is off in so many different ways. The dresses look like a combination of elements ranging from medieval to 20th century. Sometimes they look like they're an attempt at mid-victorian styles, other times they look very much like they drew inspiration from rococo clothing, in all cases they are completely lacking the structural undergarments that are supposed to form the silhuett of the times, and the lack of structured garments on the upper body and placement of the waistline is reminding me of medieval trends. Oh. And the plated armor. Goodness.
But in the end, I love this webtoon ╮(￣▽￣)╭ the relationship between the characters is lovely, the inclusion of LGBTQ characters makes me really happy, and the underlying feminism and power balance in their relationships, actions and thoughts restores my faith in romance literature. For that, I will overlook any historical discrepancies xD
Well yeah, don't expect ANY time period faithfulness. I study germanistic and like, nothing fits at all! First, the Prussian spoke German (which is why they waged war with Austria to get them ou of the Deutscher Bund), they became unified as a country in 1871 after they defeated Napoleon 3 in France so really.... Nothing fits.
Plus at the time, women did not go off to war (even wearing pants was too much) , there was no black plague, relationships before marriage were highly frowned upon, there was no LGBT openness at all... I mean I have no words to describe how much this is NOT set in actual Germany.
Indeed xD I will admit that after I heard they were "fighting the Prussians" I just stopped paying any attention to their war-jargon because I had already astablished that "yup no this is bullocks" xD as for LGBT... well it was certainly not like in the webtoon, but the concept of sexuality is a rather new one, only really established as we know it today in later victorian times, so I'm not entirely ruling out at least semi-openness around the topic, though it entirely depends on the time period and such. But we do have ample amounts of famous historical figures we now would define as LGBTQ+ so while i do not doubt that the webtoon's approach is inaccurate historically, I will allow myself to not be quite as critical of it as I am towards the costuming, and the other aspects of "German" political and social environments xD
