I’m sorry but that cracked me up when Dongwoo said it because of his father’s appearance that he was never popular with girl and I laughed even more when the father said not to belittle his beauty/appearance, that was smooth on how the author made the whole mood a lot lighter with the whole situation going on by changing the subject. Have to give credit to that d( ̄ ̄)
Idk why some people r getting mad bc of the rape thing like if u hate it that much then don’t read it, the translator even put a warning for a reason they even made it bigger so that y’all can so idk why y’all be complaining like they told y’all but you still read it even with the warnings and then go and comment of how much u hate it like did u even read the warnings or did u just ignore them like come on you can read them so like idk what’s with some of y’all Σ(゚д゚lll)
I get why people are weirded or think that this is fucked, I do really but this literally had a warning at the very beginning of the fist chapter saying that this had non consensual sex so I don’t get why some people are in the comments complaining over what they just read and being mad about it’s like “Hellooo!” did you read the warning that was given at beginning of manhwa... and I do get how rape is rape but this is fictional and it doesn’t affect no one physically or emotionally if and I feel like if some people had read the warning well they would have a normal person would do like if your okay with what ur about to read then go on ahead and if they don’t like anything of what they had said in the warning then don’t read it and leave it alone and as a person who read this and was okay with what was given in the warning I know that what I’m reading are fictional stories but again that doesn’t mean that I’m okay with the idea of non consensual sex in the real world I’m not okay..no actually I hate the idea but the things is I know that the stories given in the manhwa are fictional with fictional characters and with a fictional plot so yh that’s it just wanted to clear of my chest...btw I’m not trying to be rude to anyone —v—
I was slightly uncomfortable when I started reading since she’s basically assaulting people, then I realized (didn’t read the summary XD ) that she’s a succubus demon and this is literally what they do. They’re druggy rapey demons, it’s in the job description, though usually in manga they assault them as they sleep. What do people think is gonna happen? It’s there as a major plot point and a warning (not really plot I guess). It’s not like it was a normal non-supernatural story about everyday life and she went and assaulted people (I’ve only read the first chapter though so...). I could understand critique about using it in the story, but non-con IS the story. Just weird porn lmao
Idk why people care so much of the art style that much it’s still good, I also see people talking about the promo and how it looks much better, well please remember that it was meant to promote the novel so of course it looks good to attract readers eyes, also keep in mind that they have might have a set up time on when they post their chapters and the art needs to fit the time that, that chapter has to fit, and if you only read it for the art style then I think(my opinion) that your not really there for the author’s story which tbh it’s kinda sad cuz imagine you sell a novel that you want people to read but only gets it because the cover was beautiful and don’t really read then what’s the point of the story if you’re not gonna read it and to me that’s kinda sad.
I totally get what you're saying but there's a big difference in a book cover for a novel and a cover/promo for a webcomic.
Yes, there are a lot of people who pick up books based on their cover but their next judgement is based off the expectation of a good story. With a webcomic however, it's expected that reader's will have both quality art and story. That's literally what a webcomic is, we're coming here expecting a good story in addition to art. In combination with the very, very, very common plot, it's really not worth reading further. If the artist isn't able to create quality chapters in their given time frame, it'd be best to hire a different artist.
The sad thing is, this is a common occurrence with manhwas nowadays because they've become so popular, very similar with the low quality, dime-a-dozen animes we have now. It's being mass produced simply to get publishers more money and these new, inexperienced artists are being hired because they're not asking for much money and there's more of them than there are experienced artists with well-developed styles that are able to work with a storywriter to adapt or create a plot. It's a whole thing and I can't really describe it well but I think it's a terrible thing to encourage this type of thing because it's preventing more quality artists/storywriters from creating and getting attention for their own works and encouraging this type of business model.
Obviously, it's good to encourage beginning artists, but I believe they should have enough responsibility and respect toward their audience to actually create something of quality, as opposed to weekly chapters for the cash.
Well said!! I’ve been trying to explain this!! :D
