I don't really care about the rape as a whole but it's real hypocritical when people say "omg he got raped" but don't see the monster rape the same way. It's okay not to care. It's okay to care. No, I didn't say that it was okay. I only said the difference was that they were monsters and the person who raped the MC was his trusted friend and a human. And if I were to going into depth of how I feel. I feel like the author portrays the monsters as beings with no common sense and humanity, and their only goal is to rape the MC. And the human ML the MC's crush and childhood friend has a more complicated complex dynamic with their thought process and actions. But the fact that the ML raped MC when they were drunk and obviously never told MC makes him out to be the bad guy. Also, just because he didn't say no, doesn't mean it's an automatic yes. I like to think that if the rapist was some fugly smelly, nasty 50-year-old man, no one would believe that the MC would consent to having sex with the dude. So keep the same energy with rapist who are "attractive".
