Did you guys notice how exasperated No Name seemed with Ji-Hwa before he went to get Na-Kyum? A part of me thinks that he knows that Ji-Hwa is not a killer at heart and that he won't be able to go through with it in the end. That NK's murder isn't what he truly wants.That's why NN brought NK there alive rather than to kill him off somewhere and simply deliver a corpse. I dunno, maybe that's simply wishful thinking on my part. I just don't want poor NK to be hurt and I also don't want JH and NN to be as bad as they're painted out to be. I kind of want them to be a second couple I can root for.
If they do not kill NK they'll probably make him 'disappear' somehow, though. JH is too hurt, jealous and prideful to simply let him go back to SH. Maybe they'll send him away somewhere, like to another town? I dunno. I really can't wait for the next chapter. I need to know what's gonna happen.
Something tells me it'll be a chapter that'll focus on the other characters rather than our main couple. I know it's necessary for the plot and all but I just find myself wanting to see SH and NK each chapter and whenever we only get a glimpse of them I find myself rather disappointed. But hey, maybe that's just me. Either way, I guess we'll find out tomorrow on Lezhin.
While I like how things are developing, I also hate that SH keeps NK at an arm's length because of his status and how NK is forced to call SH 'my lord' and act subservient all the time. I understand that society was different back then and people valued status, but I want some equal grounds. I want NK to be able to call him 'Seungho', just like Ji-Hwa does. I'm not talking about the public space here, I mean privately. Who's to judge what they do behind closed doors? Otherwise, it just doesn't feel like a romantic relationship to me. It's still a master-servant/master-prostitute relationship.
I really hope we'll get there...
I think we're forgetting that nakyum is a Gisaeng???......... And seungho is a lord???? And jihwa is also a lord???? And it's the joseon dynasty in this webtoon....... And it's not a fluff webtoon we're talking about????? We're talking about a slowburn storyline?????

What do you guys think Ji-Hwa will do now? After being properly rejected by Seung-ho you'd think he'd move on but I somehow doubt it. Does he still want NK dead? I don't know. I mean I guess? Hopefully Nameless can distract him and soothe that broken heart. Just leave NK alone, OK? He's got enough on his plate at the moment trying to figure out his feelings and adjusting to SH's change of heart and mood swings.
If I have one critique against this manhwa it would be the self-lubricating assholes. My rational mind just keeps balking at that every time I see it. I'm just like "no, no, no, no, it doesn't work like that, it's as dry as a desert, he needs lube!".
I know a lot of people were disappointed by the lastest chapter but I'm not. Smut, and the consensual kind, is always welcome in my book. I do get that you guys want to see more development, but chill, we'll get there.

And yes, I also loved the chapter, it was beautiful, and I loved how the mood was emphasised by the extreme close ups in nearly every panel. The art is spectacular. And I love that this manhua doesn't use chibi characters. They're great, but they are a comic relief, which wouldn't fit this one.

It's truly a great manhwa and its faults are very minor.
Geumsum's reaction was not that of one just meeting a hottie for the first time. It's obvious that he knew or knew of 704 before he became a reaper. Question is just how.
I'm really eager to learn more about their backstory. Much more so than the main couple's one actually. Sorry, it's just that I find them less interesting.
