I really want Aaron (the blonde) to be the ML. He's adorable, respectful and charming. The fact that they're both detectives makes it all the sweeter too. I'm really beyond tired of the stoic/emotionally stunted dark haired ML (like almost every story has one). Kylian's a snooze and Aaron's a breath of fresh air.

Same. It’s like authors have something against making a ML have similar interests + be kind to the MC or smth //: blondie clearly has way more chemistry with her, why have them be so good together to just then be like “anyway, now that that’s over, she’ll end up with the jerk instead”

I kind of looks like Derrick was able to break the spell that was placed on him (at least for now). His eyes glowed blue in the previous chapters and in the newest chapter you could see the spell fizzle out. The shock from hearing about her suicide attempt and desire to leave the duchy likely caused it.

The art is gorgeous, but the story is kinda meh and the translation isn't very good either.
I can barely read this anymore. The only reason I still do each week is because I want to see the hyungnim escape somehow and stop suffering. Ideally, I'd like him to be completely free of the King but we all know that's not going to happen.
This manga is actually really good. I don't understand why it's been rated so poorly. I like both the ML and FL. They're not over the top and they act quite rationally. The art is also quite nice. The villains do act rather cliché but I don't mind it much because of the main leads.
I've seen some people complain about the frequent appearance of Mo and He Tian. It's true that they're being covered a lot more these days than the original couple, but personally I'm quite pleased with that. I find them far more interesting and refreshing. I love their chemistry and constant banter. The two are also a lot more intimate than the other couple, who still mostly act like friends. That's not to say that I dislike Jian Yi and Zhan Zheng Xi by any means - I don't - it's just that their relationship is not really progressing and so I find their scenes boring at times.
maybe their relationship would progress..... if the author ever covered them....
One: Jian Yi and XiXi aren't the Og couple or the main couple. This story has 2 main couples making up the one day band. 2: their story could have progressed earlier when Jian Yi confessed to XiXi but it felt like nothing really changed even though Zheng Xi came to know everything. On the other hand, Tianshan are the more favoured couple cuz their story is more intriguing to the audience.
Why hasn't there been an update? I want to read more! ( T﹏T )
