Ok so she's saintess and he was her knight? He loved her but she was too cold and couldn't love him back or she didn't understand how love works? Then maybe he died and it hurt her heart so she finally realized she loved him but it was too late, then they reincarnated and she remembers him? She is now trying to woo him.

If I was in BL world I'll probably be this type of ML, I'm not proud of this shit but in my teens early 20s I was just as insecure as he is, so I know where he's coming from, I can just assume author meant for his character to grow as lover as person and I think that's great
First love is almost always messy, first love could hurt most and mean most, you could even develop obsession without any knowledge of how to handle all these emotions, you can also learn and grow up from it though
To me this was like looking at wall, I couldn't feel shit for any character, pity, sadness, anger, angst, it was all so one dimensional I was zoning out
Then I finally felt emotion in latest chapters, it was cringe, I cringed so fuking hard when they got together I wished for it to end ASAP
This guy must be one of the most boring looking, bad written MLs I've seen, other red flags at least look good, with this one you can't even say "He's red flag but hot" he's just average looking trash
Actual piece of shit, every other character's expressions are spot on but when it comes to him he's soulless, his action are dumb asf, even without memories he still didn't even try to punish his aunt and with his memories back he is still fuker, both versions of this MF are just bad
Audacity to say "I've never hated you" after mistreating her for year and half YEAR AND HALF is insane, no content behind, nor reasoning, explanations could excuse his behavior in any way

His actions make sense, and I wouldn't call him a red flag. Being that the Everett family is supposedly evil, and may have actually thought that the FL was going to manipulate him (which was going to be the case if she listened to her family). Distancing himself from her would be the best course of action, to prevent himself from being manipulated.
My issue is that the ML is incredibly plain, and boring. He fell in love with the FL at first sight, WOW. So original. He buys her lots of gifts even though the dukedom is poor. WOW such a great leader.
Not to mention that the FL and the ML have no chemistry. (I get that it's because the FL's telling him to fuck off). But still...
I thought the story was going to be the FL lying to the ML pretending that they were in a loving relationship or smt. But no.
