Okaaayyyy. So the chapter starts out in a flashback from SH's perspective. He remembered the night NK disappeared and how they slept together, and then it goes to a conversation he had with mr kim when they first got NK back.

Mr kim tells him that he doesn't think NK ran away and ofc, SH tells him to stfu or *insert violent thing here*

Back to current time, NK wakes up to see SH sitting next to him. NK says his name and Seungho laughs at him. SH then goes on to tell NK about waking up to find him gone and all the thoughts that had run through his head, NK tells SH that he didn't run away. SH then demands to know why his belongings were in the woods, and NK can't give an answer because he recalls no name telling him that if he says anything they will kill him. NK remains silent.

SH then asks why NK returned, because if NK had really run away then SH wouldn't have been able to find him. At this point SH is holding onto NK's arms looking kinda desperate. My guess is that he wanted to hear NK say he came back because he loves him. But NK simply says that he didn't run away again, so SH demands an explanation one more time. And again, NK cant answer him but instead starts crying and apologizes.

Seungho then hugs NK, and like an idiot, I thought it would go sweetly. SH tells NK that it's his (SH's) fault, and grabs a handful of NK's hair. The panel where SH is staring down into NK' face and his expression is all dark scared the shit outta me :D

SH slams NK into the ground face first, all while ranting about how NK is conniving and he should never had told NK how he felt. He ends it with saying "You were right, we're just two naked bodies and we need not be anything more."

So I'm guessing everyone was wrong about this quote and it wasn't either of their thoughts, but something NK said to SH. Either way, it seems like SH is gonna assault NK next chapter. What I'm hoping for, is that their are bruises of some kind from the restraints they used on NK and SH sees them.

The last thing you mentioned, I was thinking about exactly the same thing, maybe there are marks on his arms ( he has a bruit on his lips but no one gives a damn about that -_-)

    MahirF December 4, 2020 4:54 pm

Even if SH finds marks on NK's body and stops his assault... honestly it won't change the fact that he was about to rape him and that's what depresses me. It will erase all his character development anyways. He can be mad. It's understandable but I hope he won't force NK into sex another time. It will be too much to bare for me. We thought he won't able to hurt him again.

We had the same crazy dynamic only few chapters ago with Inhun words and the orgie event... he backed up then. He should do the same now without the evidence of the marks. He should let NK leave and maybe NK won't go and SH will go back to his senses. I will hold into the tiny hope that BD will surprise us again for the next chapter and won't let SH go back to his demoms byhurting NK. It's still possible.

What did I just read?? I don't think this is how anyone expected it to go.

Basically, Jihwa wasn't able to go through with it and they tossed NK in the snow for SH to find. The servants made the assumption that NK tried to run away, and SH almost choked NK but decided not to in the last second. They put NK somewhere outside of Seungho's house and left him there.

During a flashback Jihwa asks no name if he's ever embraced a man, and NK had a dream about no name crawling on top of him and choking him. My guess is that Jihwa either paid no name to sleep with him, or paid no name to r*pe NK. (First option is more likely)

Once NK woke up he started banging on the gates to SH's property, only for no one to answer him. He goes back to small bed outside they had laid him in and falls asleep. The last panel is of SH standing next to him.

NK just went through something traumatic af and gets thrown out because no one will let him explain himself. Either way, this ended too easily. I think the real villain is going to be master Min. Min wanted in on hurting NK to mess with Seungho, but Jihwa decided not to do anything, so more likely than not Min will take matters into his own hands. Especially if NK has been tossed out by SH, he has no protection now.

    MahirF November 27, 2020 2:40 pm

Nice analysis like always! It's surprising that we didn't see Min at all yet he will certainly play a role at some point in harming Nakyum. Maybe once he knows that Jihwa couldn't kill him, he will intervene eventually? I think Jihwa was thinking of himself when he asked Nameless that question. I don't see the point of him wanting NK to get raped and then return him. Doesn't make much sense.

Also, I don't think SH will toss NK away. He could have done it already but he is obviously waiting for some explanation or evidence. We get to see Nameless choking Nakyum.. and usually, strangulation bruises and marks appear 2 to 3 days later. I am wondering if the author thought of that and once SH will notice the marks, he will believe Nakyum! But for sure, no one saw that plot twist coming!!

    nami November 27, 2020 2:41 pm

It doesn't look like Nakuym is anywhere outside. He's in some sort of a storage room, there's food stored and wrapped in hay there. It's still within the mansion.
He was given the fire and, for the reason I can't understand, Seungho's expensive robe, that he wrapped himself in and is clinging onto. I guess this was how the plot needed him to know that Seungho is somewhere around. In the last panel, Seungho is standing there, watching him sleep.

Nakuym is treated rough, that's true. I was expecting more observational skills from Seungho at this point and that he wpuld give Nakyum benefit of a doubt. Perhaps he did notice the marks around Nakyum's mouth, and that's why he didn't grab his throat. Or he didn't notoce and stopped only because he just can't be violent towards Nakyum anymore.

I guess Byeonduck wants us to be very confused right now lol

Next chapter could be Jihwa and Nameless going to town, and perhaps only few scenes of SH and NK at the end, just to leave us on a cliffhanger lol I call it.

But I totally agree with you on the fact that Min is the true villain. Jihwa isn't that smart. He's narcissistic and wanted Seungho for himself, he acted out of desperation and broken heart. And thr kill plot, who's idea was it after all, right? Min's. Min has a personal vendetta with Seungho and wants to mess with him. He loves drama and gossip. I'm sure he's far from being done.

And then there's also a teacher that will probably return at the end of the season, equipped with the knowledge of Seungho's feelings towards Nakuym - his weakness.

For now, I just need Nakuym to wake up, embrace Seungho and tell him what happened. And I need Seungho to believe him.

Technically, it starts to show the day after but it gets darker with brownish-blue color 2 to 3 days later and the marks can last for about a week... depending the amount of pressure applied and how it was applied, of course. It's a pretty common act in BDSM, not that I've ever experienced it but I read about it, haha. That being said, it was just an assumption that the author would use that as a way to make SH believe NK. Actually, maybe it was just a nightmare from NK and he wasn't chocked at all ( ̄へ ̄)

Yeah, I went to re-read too, since I thought the choking was real. But you guys are right, it was a dream indeed.
However, Nakuym saw the Nameless in that dream, though in the mask, so it shows that he did see him at some point (perhaps when Nameless approached him initially, at the doctor's). I think he will have ptsd reaction when he sees him again in the future, in town, and that might be important for the plot.

Oh boy, so as we already knew, Jihwa and no name have NK. And anyone who still had hope that either of them would show mercy can throw that hope right out the window, no name is cold as ice and Jihwa has a new level of hatred for NK after finding out that Seungho slept with NK after rejecting his confession.

Seeing NK scream Seunghos name for help honestly broke mah heart a bit. No name set up the scene to look like NK ran away, under the impression that Seungho will not be looking for NK so they can do what they want. However, we have a few things that I think will save us.

1. Some of NK's clothes are missing (they are presumably at or around the kidnap scene)
2. NK told the servant woman that he would not run away again and that he had nowhere to go
3. NK did not take his painters bag. Every other run away attempt, NK always made sure to take the bag. But the bag is still in his room
4. Seungho knows of at least two people who would harbor a grudge against NK

So even if Seungho doesn't realize right away, he's bound to eventually (unless we're all vastly overestimating his big brain energy) Either way, NK is not going to be saved immediately. So I believe that jihwa will decide to let Min do what he wants out of anger.

And as it seems, there will be a special chapter next week so we won't be getting a new chapter for the main story. I am happy but I cry

    Sugarcube November 13, 2020 6:52 pm

    5. Kim probably also knows that NK cares for SH by now, and that it would be weird, if he ran away. After all, he noticed SH's feelings towards NK early on, and he threw the drawing (that NK made of his teacher) out, so he may tell this info to SH to convince him to go look for him, as Kim will suspect that something happened to NK, even if SH thinks he ran away..

Avocado October 30, 2020 11:02 pm

Yo, what if Nakyum gets kidnapped and Seungho just thinks that he ran away

    MahirF October 31, 2020 12:08 am

If so then it won't be the case for a long time. He will have to figure out the truth quite fast so he would save NK's ass from Min's diabolic rape plan. I think the rape plan is ironically what will save NK. Nameless will have to wait before finishing him because of Min.. which will leave some time for Seungho to find these bitches and end their life (hopefully). I am not a shipper of violence but I won't mind seeing SH striking with his sword and make some blood flow. Now, what will make Jihwa change his mind and include Min in the plan... that's another story! So far, he seemed quite reluctant. Maybe he will see SH and NK together again and his anger will literally explode.

He might already be angry enough to include Min depending on how Seungho responded to his confession. Thinking about it tho, that confession was probably a last ditch effort to avoid going through with killing NK.

Seungho wakes up, and the first words out of his mouth are "Why are you out of the house without my permission?"

This possessive bitch.

On a serious note. I really like NK, and I understand why SH does as well. SH has lived his whole life surrounded by arrogant, violent, greedy nobles. SH has been mistreated and pulled around by these people, who do nothing but try to control him. Then enters NK this small, pretty, kindhearted, innocent kid. A complete and total contrast to everyone around Seungho.

Jiwha's confession was full of desperation, jealousy, anger, and pride. NK's confession (that was supposed to be for Inhun) was gentle, and he wanted nothing more than his crush to return his feelings. Jiwha wants to possess SH, to be the only one in SH's life. He believes he's the only one who understands SH and his pride cannot possibly allow a lowborn to get in the way. Therefore he plans on removing that obstacle, no matter how much SH may care for it.

Imo, that isn't love. Its obsession. In the end, Jiwha isn't any different from the other nobles.

Seungho is finally figuring out his feelings, and this whole chapter was practically just him confessing. NK is starting to fall for SH as well. The author is going to make NK getting taken away as painful as physically possible for both us and SH. Not sure my heart is ready ;-;

    Goddamnnnn. So well put.
This chapter was an incredible character development. And communication wise too!! This was the mkst Seungho said to Nakyum in a long time, he finally started TALKING to jim, instead of just ordering him. He's EXPLAINING things even. Both to himself and to Nakyum. His words made Nakuym come, that was so powerful.
And I agree with you so much, the angst that will come will be damn hard

    MahirF October 30, 2020 2:52 pm

Great points. The chapter was good but unlike many people here I didn't have the impression the love making was very intimate. We saw SH all emotional, confessing his feelings while Nakyum was mainly there asking for more and saying how hot it was. It felt pretty unbalanced in terms of interaction. But it's about time. Nakyum will be shattered mentally and physycally by the murder/rape attempt and only then he will know that SH is his only salute.

Hmm, I agree to an extent. You are right with the fact that Nakyum didn't react much verbally to what Seungho was saying, and he certainly didn't reply. But what was interesting to me was what he didn't do, which was out of the character for him so far - he didn't say no, not even once, he didn't protest, even thought they're yet again in a public place. He didn't cry, he wasn't startled nor uncomfortable. He was blushing like crazy, his eyes wide open at first, then narrowed as he listened to Seungho keep talking. His replies were certainly missing though, I'd expect him to take part in the conversation, though I think the reason wjy didn't respond was because he was processing everything. However, I'm sure he's not yet feeling the same as Seungho does, that's for sure. To Nakyum it definitely is more of a physical attraction, not yet emotional.
But I liked how he started to tear up and came in the last panels, from Seungho's whispering to his ear lol

Good points! Thanks for mentioning all these details. I went back and read the chapter again and there is indeed more interaction than I initially thought. Still not verbal from Nakyum though. It's about time.

    Avocado October 30, 2020 6:29 pm

To add to that, the sex scene is really interesting to me because of the character development. If you think about it, NK was initially ashamed and had a lot of self hatred centered around his sexuality. SH taught NK that being with men and enjoying sex is ok. And on the other hand, Seungho was hyper sexual but didn't know anything about love or communication. NK is teaching SH about his emotions.

In a weird way, I feel like they're actually on pretty equal ground

We start off with Kim and Seungho looking over the letter. It appears to be from someone named "Lord Song". Which, doesn't seem to be someone SH is fond of based off of his reaction. The letter is asking SH to meet the other lord at a nearby tavern at the specified time. Mr kim, seeing how stressed SH looks suggests that he can just not go since he doesn't feel well. SH ignores him and asks where Na-kyum is, then quickly says never mind after kim answers.

The scene cuts and suddenly it's a sex scene between NK and SH, a rather loving one actually. SH is gentle with NK and tells him he's fond of him. And you guessed it, it was Na-kyum having a dream lol. While NK is washing clothes (presumably the pants he just ruined with that dream) he tries to come up with an excuse for himself saying that he's just pent up because SH hasn't held him recently. Mr. Kim walks in and sees NK's wrist injury and says they're going to the doctor, but he has to ask SH for permission. Once kim gets to SH's room he realizes that the master went to see "lord song" alone.

And now, we switch to jihwa. Jihwa is being followed around by min who demands to be let in on the plot to kill NK, but first min wants to "have some fun at Seungho's expense" by "tasting" NK. Which, speaking plainly means that Min wants to r*pe NK before they kill him.

The scene switches to Jihwa thinking everything over at a tavern, when suddenly a foot slams into his back and we see Seungho standing above him.

"Did you think I wouldn't recognize your handwriting, Jihwa?"

Yup, Jihwa sent that letter to trick SH into meeting up with him. But, what's more interesting is whoever this "lord song" person is, this was a very subtle way of introducing him to the story.

    MahirF October 16, 2020 1:44 pm

That introduction of lord Song was extremely subtle and smart indeed! He could be one of the people SH refereed to when he said he should have killed them all. Servant Kim did not want SH to meet that guy by himself as if it will be a danger for SH just to see this lord! Either a psychological or physical danger! Interesting fact is that Jihwa knows all about the traumatic event SH lived in the past and even the people involved since he used that lord Song as a trap to get SH out of his mansion. So much mystery regarding SH's past and the traumatic event he endured...

    But it was cute nonetheless

I agree! We've got another character introduced, which I presume is crucial when it comes to SH's past. And since Jihwa "knows Seungho's secrets", he knew it was going to work when he used that character to bring out Seungho.

That was, in my opinion, a set up. With that awful servant gone, they had to change the plan. Now, I'm curious if the assasin will get to Nakyum first or Min... And if Nakyum will get ambushed at home or on his way to the doctor (with deypur to the tavern, since the old servant was terrified that SH went alone)... And if the old servant will die trying to protect Nakyum... Damn, so many questions!

Chapter starts off with NK waking up on the floor covered by SH's clothing. SH is sitting beside NK, drunk out of his mind and mumbling to himself in his drunken state. He admits he was jealous of InHun and that NK makes his emotions all crazy. But more importantly, makes a remark about his past and he wonders if it would be easier to "kill them all and then himself".

We've now seen a new side of SH, a new very confused, angry, lonely and emotional side of him. Whatever happened, affected SH extremely deeply. Deep enough to cause suicid*l ideation.

After that SH falls over, and we cut scene to him being in bed with Mr kim and the doctor by his side. SH has fallen very I'll do to a lack of sleep + excessive drug and alcohol use. Mr kim and the doctor leave and tell NK to watch over SH. NK sits by SH's side and thinks about everything that had happened and everything SH had said. He asks SH if he really has feelings for him while wiping his face with a cloth, SH nuzzles his face into NK's hand. And NK pulls back and blushes (one of the first signs of non-sexual romantic interest we've seen NK have towards SH.)

Once again we cut, and this time to Mr. Kim receiving a mysterious letter for SH. Only saying "He's not one to write to my master."

Like everyone else, I'm also guessing SH's father. However SH also has more brothers, this could be introducing one of them. Or maybe some other noble SH has history with.

Either way, this chapter definitely felt like the calm before the storm to me. SH has fallen ill and is unable to protect NK, all of the servants are old and not by any means fighters. Dragging NK away is going to be easy for No name. But the thing is, if no name drags NK away silently, wouldn't everyone just think NK ran away? And would therefore not try to rescue him? NK may end up having only himself to rely on when he inevitably confronts no name.

I also don't think it's the father for sure. SH has received a letter one before from him (when NK was recovering from his illness), that he burnt in the pile of leaves, and the reaction wasn't like this. They wouldn't have acted so dramatically now, if the letter was again from the father. I bet it's another brother or someone else, someone from the government who's also an acquaintance of SH? He said in the past he has no interest in the government post, and it felt to mee as if he has some resentment towards it.
