One of the main reason these standard remain in the first place is because ocolonization and imperialism, and media which imposed standard of “whiteness” to measure of beauty that we see today.We've got south africans bleaching and using injections to achieve that whiter look and this is as far as skin goes. So, It's a global problem not only an asian problem.
