Bruh I stopped after the season 1, I read spoilers of the whole novel and yeah i may be considered close minded but the fact that Lucius fuckdd other woman while Paul was there and still manage to be with er at the end really disgusted me

Well I don’t think it was out of choice that he slept with the concubines. It was out of duty for being king. Just like how he didn’t want to marry them but had no choice to. If he didn’t do all those things, I’m pretty sure it would have stirred up conflict with other countries and possibly started wars because of “neglect” of their princesses.

I can get why you guys are mad because I’m not exactly happy about it either. But it is true that it’s kinda considered close minded btw for not being able to understand his situation. Even if he did go after pauliana, I doubt she would’ve taken it very nicely or with mutual feelings anytime soon (just judging from that confession scene from the other guy). He’s also suffering from the fact that he can’t properly confess or marry pauliana. If he didn’t do all these things, nobles from his country and others from different countries would’ve been angry at him. Plus do you think that if he actually tried to make pauliana his wife, that she would’ve been happy stuck in the palace having to just be expected to stay out and make children?

Yeah bruh this is why I stopped reading and leave on a good note without really complaining.
For me he choosed to be the Emperor so he should know the consequence of his action, ofc he wouldn't know that he'd meet Paul on the way of his dream but the way he act his still very childish.

(Well it's may be personal trauma I got from childhood too lol which is why I don't like his character, the story is very good, it's just that I don't stand ML like him that isn't wholesome to their s/o which is why I dropped it and rather read dumb and cliché story where the ML is allergic to all woman but the FL lol)

Yeah it's true that kind of thinķ was close minded. But i want the emperor won't be that greedy to want be with paul too. Even they're not married for love but if he had a heart and wise enough he should thinking about his wives too it's already make them stress enough to had preassure become an empress they're nice person it's so sad. He can confess but he must let her go, that's sacrificed was love too

When they change the novel story when it comes to webtoon i think they will change the ending too, i hang on to that's hope. I can't lie if i hate the story, it's actually pretty good and the drawing was amazing. But for know when i don't know how the story will end i just want to write the honest feeling from my heart and hate the thought that lucius and paul will end up together （/TДT)/

Pauliana married another guy, but her husband used her for money so that doesn’t end well for him.
All of lucius’ concubines will be gone anyways. They will end up together lmao. I think it’s better for you to give up on that hope and just move on to another story or give up now so that you can get used to it by the time it comes, you won’t be as mad
