No healthy relationships in sight I repeat no healthy relationships in sight at the moment.
Don't go into this Manhwa expecting to gain information relating to healthy relationships and post long ass criticisms when it fails to meet your expectations. This is a work of fiction and is created for the sole purpose of entertainment.
The art is gorgeous and the dynamics between the pairing is quite interesting and engaging in my opinion. It's sure to have tons of drama in the future but the pacing is amazingly done because it's not dragging the story in any manner rather it's quite fast and feels refreshing because of the same reason.
The Uke is portrayed as a guy having strong ethics & principles which make him admirable but is not as emotionally mature as he should be ig? He's suffered the hardships of life at quite a young age so I would assume he would be more aware of his emotions and of the intentions of those around him but his ignorance simply adds to his charm ig?
The Seme sure has an interesting way of showing his affection, one which at the moment I do not greatly appreciate but well character development is something we all can hope for can't we.
We also have a terribly sick villian who I'd just love to punch in the face and his antics are just starting ugh so it's going to be a long ride and I'm keeping my pliers ready.
I know I sound terribly doubtful of the future of this Manhwa's storyline and it's characters but trust me I'm anticipating it's future chapters because it gives the characters a chance to grow as the story progresses, hopefully for the better, something not seen very commonly in stories such as these.
Don't just please don't ever fucking claim someone as yours without their permission & consent. People aren't possessions that belong to someone, the belong to themselves and people like Sangwook are utterly awful.
I understand that he has a past with the MC but it does not give him any right to boss him around by cornering him when he is clearly uncomfortable, and then threaten his brother to back off because he is "his". C'mon man we are not fucking living in the medevial times- grow up and deal with situations like an adult not a kid who has just found his favourite long lost toy.
Ugh I'm sorry if I offended someone with my rant but people like Sangwook get on my nerves so much and I can't like their characters no matter how much I try.
While the art style is certainly pretty; the FL seems to be a tad bit too annoying. I can understand that she has gone through alot of trouble to find the ML but he does not owe her anything and the manner in which she was trying to convince him to help her felt ignorant of the ML's own problems and a little too backward.
People help those who help themselves and I wish the FL would've paid heed to this.
Well I mean she does have a sheltered mindset of a princess, also is caught up in fear for her own life by being killed- but I mean I guess she can think completely like normal in that situation?

Anyways I’m glad you chose to drop it quick as soon as you knew you didn’t like it, unlike some annoying types of people who love continuously reading certain stories and complaining about it even tho they were the ones who chose to keep reading something they didn’t like

This is one of the worst if not the worst Manhwa I've ever read. It shows a very dark side of the lives of the extras & second leads in comics and while I liked it and found the concept interesting the execution fell flat on its face. The character development is ridiculously slow and at times non existent, the main focus is only on the main pairing and simply sidelines the other extra characters which is so ironic considering this is a comic about how terribly used side characters are by creators. My main issue is the fact that if you simply can't give a story to the other characters; why even feature them so many times? Why make us emotional attached to them only to give them a fucking half baked ending just because it fits your narrative of "oh life is unfair and it's all about the choices you make" bullshit. It started off as really interesting and could've been so amazing if only it focused more on building the relationships of characters instead of discussing the concept of how they were side characters again & again- it got ridiculously repetitive after a point and simply made me annoyed.
I apologise if my view of this Manhwa hurt anybody's sentiments- it's my personal opinion and I just want anyone who wishes to read this Manhwa know exactly what they were getting into and not have their expectations fall flat like mine did.
That is true, but I guess it all depends on the reader's perspective and hoe they will take this manhwa. I understand your opinion and that's okay. I like how this is really different and not only shows us the struggles of side-characters but gives us a sense of how those side characters feel when they are not needed, how they don't want to do what the creators are making them do. They just want a better and happy ending for themselves, wanting to think for themselves and not having to follow a written script. That:s the beauty of this manhwa in my opinion:) everyone see's everything differently:))
I had given up on the first couple long back when I noticed how the second half of the webtoon was simply going downhill for them- it was just toxic with characters who refused to change the circumstances they were in while as for the second couple, I loved them.
Their dynamic was really so interesting and I wish they would have been given more chapters because Taehyun is the kind of character who's love story is bound to be heartbreakingly beautiful.
Were they perfect? Hell no
Were they toxic? Maybe but from what I gathered of the last chapter all I saw was potential.
Potential for characters who have been emotionally broken up like Taehyun & Sungjoon to grow, to let go of their fears and be able to love each other freely.
Their story is bound to be a roller coaster of emotions- with Taehyun being unable to keep Sungjoon as his first choice & using him as a refuge to Sungjoon being a little obsessed with Taehyun and ready to accept whatever love he gets, regardless of how less it may be or how painful it might become in the future.
I hope they can get their own spin off.
I think the second guy is really mature and I wish Manhwas would feature more guys like him who actually possess clear communication skills and treat people with respect & basic decency.
