As someone who is a fan of Ever After High, a lot of fans or people that have watched the show shit on Descendants- mostly because it's quality isn't as good as EAH or because it played a role in EAH's downfall. This was me with Painter of the Night, especially during 2020-21. That is not to say it's a bad manhwa, it's just not as good as other BL mangas and manhwas. Plus, I feel like it was only popular because it had a nice art style(and tbf I do agree with that to this day).   reply
