He already got revenge but he isn't satisfied until he brings her down for something she didn't do yet he still doesn't want her to suffer bc he has feelings for her..... THis is simply how things were in the hostorical-type settings: Your family's crimes are yours too.
That's why I hate stories that go a realistic route like this one. Life was just shit if you were part of a family that did something bad and got what they had coming. People would have killed literal infants just out of spite for the grandfathers wrong doings in ruling. Servants were off'd alongside their masters, etc..

Ignorant or not, she clearly had a great life, and imagine the person that had great life due to you, your friends and family for being treated like a livestock. I would hate her and the family.
Plus she can't do shit for the time being as she was just a nobel. So they will likely see her as a reminder of their suffering that brings no value.
Feel sorry for her as everything is just unfortunate for her. But that's just the retribution in commoners eye's for enjoying her life at the expense of others, knowingly or not.
