Brother season two is veryyyy important in understanding all the characters it's also a very beautifully written story that you're missing out on I definitely recommend giving it a shot

I tried so hard it was so boring for me that I ended up not caring about the characters anymore. I read a lot before I dropped it but I missed Ian too much and didn’t like Brian enough for it

I looked back and I got to Ep 78 and couldn’t take it anymore idk if I’ll be able to finish it it’s so boring for me

Damn then I don't know lmao I personally didn't find it boring so I can't help sorry XD did you maybe binge it back then? Maybe reading it in one setting would help? I still recommend reading it yourself but if you don't think you can, here's what i took from season two I personally found Ian and Brian to be very similar people like their personalities, so it is obvious that the soul is the same, one was just mislead by a crazy fanatic fake religious dictator Also Sol basically learned how to human from Brian and honestly he had the best teacher for it and just keep in mind that Brian was a really really good person selfless strong bright and loving, he was also a very just leader after stablishing the new era for their country, I mean he didn't become king but he was a co-leader in my opinion and he helped develop their country alot( I said all this so it could help with understanding why Sol would wait nearly a thousand years for his lover yet still not trying to pressure Ian into becoming him)
***And lastly this one has major SPOILERS cardinal heron is Sol's brother(another dragon) who is obsessed and jealous and basically stole Brian's reincarnation because Brian would never love him... so he stabbed them in the back betrayed their trust (they were on friendly terms at first) and kidnapped Brian and then lead him to his death... basically forced Brian to kill himself so that he and sol could have another chance of being together (he was trying to break the bond between them it was a dragon marriage thing) when Sol found him on the brink of death he still asked Sol not to take revenge and just take care of the nation... I'm gonna go cry again lol Oh also cardinal heron is the one that stablished the other kingdom he's not just a cardinal and he banned magic(?) there by lying to everyone in an elaborate plan to brainwash Ian basically... I guess as a dragon he was always obsessed with engineering new worlds so that's probably another reason and that was the only thing he cared about until he met Brian and got interested in humans and relationships and basically became obsessed with Brian anyways that should be most of it i don't really remember the god lores sorry and hope this helps also sorry it's so long XD

Omg thank you so much for the recap, I didn’t binge it but I would read it as new chapters came out and the fact that it never seemed to end made me so mad even reading the recap I don’t think I can read all that maybe one day I’ll try but for now that’s lowkey torture to me
