MC ends up in the body of a character who grows up being abused/used for her elemental/alchemist powers. She’s gifted a “pet” that she knows will eventually grow up to a powerful mage and kill her and entire household. She tries her best (and fails) to get the Mage to escape / kicked out before he grows up. Eventually the mage kills her abusive father/household but he’s become obsessed with the MC (they’re both emotionally stunted / bc of the abuse of her father)
