Tsubaki reincarnated into an otome world from her prior life. She quickly discovers her half sister in the new life was also reincarnated. Her half sister mentions the otome game or novel, forgot which, and Tsubaki is like oh yeah i remember that from old life. In the otome from old life Tsubaki was the villain and half sister was heroine. Half sister assumes she’s still heroine and the Tsubaki will get bad death route. Half sister doesn’t know Tsubaki reincarnated too. Tsubaki uses her knowledge to prevent her moms suicide which was the main cause of Tsubaki becoming the villianess. She prevents it by forming plan with mom to sneak through broken fence and get note to mom’s family to help them escape from tsubaki’s dad. FYI, Tsubaki’s dad had married the mom for money, imprisoned her in separate shack and setup mistress and daughter (half sister) in the main house. Mom’s family gets them out and mom divorces dad. Looks like dad lost mistress cause mistress remarried and half sister’s last name changed. Tsubaki’s mom remarries as well causing Tsubaki’s last name to change. Tsu wants to change fate so she befriends cousin and gets him out of the funk he was in dye to his own mom’s death. Tsu acts all uppity at school to the other girls to keep them from fangirling over cousin so she can get him with the right girl and avoid him getting with her half sister at some future point. Seems to be doing good job since whenever half sis shows up the cousin doesn’t seem to be into her. Main lead for Tsubaki has yet to be identified but it seems like the non capture targets from game dig her.
