why are people being mean to the grandpa? it's obvious that he comes from another generation and his mindset is completely different from the newer ones. i don't think he was being homophobic but you guys need to understand that older generations are more close minded than younger ones. that's just how life works
what I love about this manga is how complex the characters are. I personally don't think that haesoo and jowoon love each other anymore. I think it's more of a co-dependent relationship since they were together and served as an anchor to each other when they were kids. and because of this they didn't allow themselves to meet someone else.
imo they really need to move on so they can be comfortable with each other in the future. as for taku, I really like him and I'm glad haesoo is actually giving him a chance, because this means he's willing to move on (character development!)
i'm not team jowoon or team taku (even though I like taku more, but because so far jowoon seems more aggressive and obsessive, which is a toxic trait. this doesn't mean I don't like jowoon).
I just want haesoo to be happy, with or without them. I also want jowoon to find happiness, I don't think he will get it by staying with haesoo, since their relationship is already broken due to their toxic dynamic. as for taku, he seems a bit obsessive as well, but I seriously hope their relationship evolves into a good one. if not, I'd also think they'd be better off by themselves.
i liked it overall, but i felt like it needed some closure. i understand that jaehyun needs more time to fully open up and i don't mind that, but i don't really like the fact that he's still being... supported? i'd like jaehyun to become fully independent one day. i also really like the son. i forgot his name (sorry) he's such a good person unlike his disgusting father.
i've been trying to read this webtoon but i always end up dropping it for various reasons (i forget what chapter i was reading, i get bored, etc) but as i've seen it's completed i was wondering if i should give it a shot and read it all? somehow i always end up here trying to read it but something ends up happening. what do you think? is it good?
i think it's good in the sense of its originality, and its overall themes. it definitely strays far from the cliches that are normally seen in mangas. it's more of a realistic story with natural, funny, and somewhat lovable characters. not too dramatic, but not too lighthearted either. the characters may appear to be indifferent, foolish and childish but their raw emotions make up for it as you see them gradually grow from their mistakes and just move on with their lives. for others, the ending seems anti-climatic for others but i personally think everything about it is pretty brilliant.
i LOOOOVE the author's artstyle. i really liked fools when i first read it (might read it again) and also really liked the color scheme in the previous fools, but i can see the author definitely improved her style. when i started reading love or hate (which i love) i couldn't believe they were done by the same author.
so i'm really excited for this one. it also seems that the author is trying to make a more in-depth version of fools, seems like they're trying to focus more on the character's thoughts
